I suppose the author of the video wanted to pay tribute to the composer. I've always admired composers more than performers. And I'm NOT saying this performance is bad. It's amazing – adds a new layer to the song. It's just that it'd be nothing if Bob Marley never composed it. Frankly speaking, McFerrin's version wouldn't exist.
