Meatists raised up from the dead. To feed upon the living. Drinking blood and eating flesh. Maggots crawling in the skulls. Of those who were deceased. Gluttonously ripping flesh. With ancient rotten teeth. Mindless hunger. Gorging on the bloody animal feast. Rotten bowels decayed and split. No escape for grain and fruit. Regurgitation now begins. Meatists puke. Pools of rotten entrails. Flesh and blood spew on the ground. Only bones are left. Necrocannibalistic Vomitorium.
Thought you were gonna just be one of those "antivegan" people, But ya, Peta, while it has done plenty of really good things, Has done a lot of stupid S#*T. I'm starting to not like them to much as well.
GO! peta!lol i once stuck some of peta's posters (did your meal have a face-or somthing like tht)in the meat section in tescos.I didn't stick around to get screamed at by tescos personel however lol
In this situation, I don't think there should be any worry about being "confrontational" or "put[ing] off" the people. The people voluntarily came to watch the video and they are currently watching as he hands them the literature. This is the perfect time to ask them to make the transition from meat-eating to veganism! I can't think of a better situation for it!
I think it's perfect that you handed out Even If You Like Meat... it less confrontational for those people who are automatically put off by the word "Vegan"! Great idea! Wonder how it could be arranged to show it on a jumbotron :-) Again, great work!
If we ask for veganism of others and they do less, then so be it. We've still set up veganism as the moral baseline to the institutionalized exploitation of animals. If we only ask for reduced meat consumption and avoid confronting the cruel egg and dairy industries (as "Even If You Like Meat" largely does) we will get much less change.
Good point. I think both are great booklets for different reasons. I think these booklets are an excellent lead-in for those who say or think, "I like meat."
Excellent work with the projected video. Great idea.
I was disappointed, however, to see you handed out "Even If You Like Meat..." rather than Vegan Outreach's "Why Vegan?" or "Try Vegetarian." PETA's "Vegetarian Starter Kit" is also great.

Great job! Excellent video to give ideas fro activists. I see thet here you have good "work conditions" :
- space on the street (not easy to find)
- good screen, and good speakers
- attractive flyers, colored and good quality paper...
it is not the chance to all the groups (each one with it's possibility).
Also your smiling face is an advantage! ;-)
Go and Make vegans!!

This demonstration can take place in most areas around the world. That's the most I'll say. :b
It would be great to see other groups including this type of activism in their schedule.

We encourage it - the more the merrier!, lol. :)
