That is a neat setup you have there, although you do not by any means have "super crazy skills". I have mine hooked up to StepMania (it's much more fun fullscreen and the sound quality is better, not to mention basically unlimited files and easy editing). I found the up and down arrows to be confusing, so I downloaded a noteskin to change them to solid blocks of colour. Try that, it's more fun and its easier.
