  • HI Mary how are you? Could I ask you a question? Were you excamumicated? You seem so bitter.

My Ggod is surely not NEO PLATOISTIC.

  • SPIN IT BILL SPIN IT!

  • When he heard what had been spent that may have been that amount at the time he heard it. I followed Gordon all my life and certainly won't hang my hat on wether he got some numbers right.

Is that how you lost your testimony was to look at all the little follies of people and then buying into it and the garbage of the modern misinformation mob? I have had such rich experiences being LDS I wish the same for everyone. I went to the Y too, had my issues with it but I know I hold the priesthood.

  • @scottwins2 It doesn't matter to you how your tithing is spent? That they give no REAL accounting General Conference AT ALL... That they don't follow their own Articles of Faith? But choose to use other people's money, donated for Temples and missionaries to get involved in politics against their own statements of "Obeying Honoring and Sustaining the Law" and OVER the constitution's Seperation of Church and State. Yet because they are a "corporation" they don't pay taxes.

  • @scottwins2 I heard Hinkley LIE on 60 minutes when it was first aired. It bothered me then. It was many years however before it sank in enough coupled with numerous other inconsistencies for me to see clearly. I have had many awesome spiritual experiences throughout my life. So do people of other faiths. I have had far more powerful and REAL experiences outside of the church! Ultinately God lead me to sources of Truth, and made it abundantly clear HE wanted me out. I drug my feet

  • @scottwins2 because I didn't want to pull my kids away from all the activities. I didn't know where else to go. God gave me a defining moment however that pushed me off the fence. I could no longer be "luke warm". I had been praying daily to "Not be deceived" So I haven't been. Also my CTR ring is Ukranian. It hasn't been able to come off since I was in the MTC. It stand for. "CHOOSE TRUTH". That is what I have chosen. I greatly fear for those I love who will squelch their conscience

  • @MaryMarchNewell Choosing just Truth is what Plato wanted. He thought there are only three things eternal Truth, Beauty, Good, Latter he gave it a name it was "The Devine" or "The One" It was carried by the Saducees and Parisses and nourashed by greek philosopers unitil Niacea where Constaine made the Trinitarian God, One God for good. Your God is the God of Plato called NeoPlatoism, God is a body flesh and bone. Thats why Jesus ask for fish when he was resurrected to show that he had that body.

  • @scottwins2 YOUR god, isn't THE God at all... YOUR God is a "middleman" god, who has a god over him, who is over him, etc.... I've just gone over your head! Your "God of Flesh" is many generations down the line, from THE GOD, who is SOURCE, who like D&C 88 is IN and OF and THROUGH, ALL things!!! There are MANY fleshy beings in this Universe who would like to be worshipped AS a god... That doesn't make them GOD, even if some choose to worship them...

  • @scottwins2 and follow man! (Jeremiah 17:5-6... SALT lands....) In recent conferences they reiterate the 14 points of prophetic infallibility... They are whipping the Sheep into shape for something BIG! If they tell you to bring all your food storage in. DON'T. You'll never see it again! I loved the Y. I loved my life growing up. I loved being a missionary. I love the fact that I am FREE now, :) Its ALL good. :) The things that I have pointed out to you today, are readily available

  • @MaryMarchNewell Most of it second or third hand information designed by the devil who always gets a free ride to decieve you. Joseph was a prophet and his family good and true. Our prophet today leads us on a good a right path. I can see you are not willing to acccept anything at all even Josephs killing and wine. I could go on but to no avail. The Book of Mormon is true as is the Bible, how I don't know but I have tested it and it rings true. I will follow the prophets, scripture and prayer.

  • @scottwins2 No Scott. I have not given you ANYTHING that was 2nd or 3rd hand. You are being deceptive when you say that! I have given you video footage of your own prophet's words. I have given you direct quotes, out of your OWN scriptures!!! If as you say those are "designed by the Devil to deceive you" then, I REST my case. However you are doing a pretty good job at deceiving yourself. God Bless.

  • @scottwins2 PS Scott... You only get answers in prayer to the questions that you ASK! Ask Lots of questions... Lots and lots of questions....

  • @scottwins2 and easily verifiable! Read D&C 111 as well. and find an older lesson manual on that section... then tell me what you think.

  • I advise all people to look at the mormom church " The Mormon curtain " is a good website

  • Spin it Bill, Spin it

  • @scottwins2 Helen thought her marriage to Joseph Smith was only dynastic. But to her surprise, it was more. Helen confided to a close friend in Nauvoo: "I would never have been sealed to Joseph had I known it was anything more than ceremony. I was young, and they deceived me, by saying the salvation of our whole family depended on it." ("Mormon Polygamy: A History by LDS member Richard S. Van Wagoner, p. 53.)

  • @scottwins2 When Heber C. Kimball asked Sister Eliza R. Snow the question if she was not a virgin although married to Joseph Smith, she replied, "I thought you knew Joseph Smith better than that." - Stake President Angus M. Cannon, statement of interview with Joseph III, 23, LDS archives.

  • @scottwins2 Peter Ingersoll (family neighbor and friend of Joseph Smith) Affidavit, Palmyra, Wayne County. N. Y. Dec. 2, 1833: (Mr. Hale) addressed Joseph, in a flood of tears: "You have stolen my daughter and married her. I had much rather have followed her to her grave. You spend your time in digging for money -- pretend to see in a stone, and thus try to deceive people." cont ...........

  • @999LDS Joseph wept, and acknowledged he could not see in a stone now, nor never could; and that his former pretensions in that respect, were all false. He then promised to give up his old habits of digging for money and looking into stones."

  • And no conviction.

  • Spin it Bill spin it!!

  • The Ensign, as recent as Oct 2006 showed the traditional incorrect method of translation so the church is making no effort to educate the masses. We have yet to see a picture of Joseph looking into a hat in any Church publication.

    Lies lies lies !

  • Q. Why doesn't the church be honest when teaching the method to investigators or even its own members?

A . The short answer of course is that it would make the whole story sound unbelievable. No one would join the church if the missionaries plainly taught that Joseph put his face in a hat with a stone in it and translated the Book of Mormon when the plates were either covered so no one, including Joseph could see them or that the plates were hidden in the woods when he translated them

  • Robert N. Hullinger, in his book: Joseph Smith's Response to Skepticism, cites a personal interview Emma Smith-Bidamon gave to a committee of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1879. He notes on pages 9-10: "Smith's wife Emma supported Harris's and Whitmer's versions of the story in recalling that her husband buried his face in his hat while she was serving as his scribe

  • @999LDS Sounds like a good way to keep out the light to me. I could see the screen better on my sons Ipod if I had hat from time to time. By the way the Urim and Thumim is mentioned twice in the Old Testament.

  • 1 .(Exodus 33:20) – “But God said, "You cannot see My face, for no man can see Me and live !" ( Smith ; I saw God ) 2.The Law and the Prophets were proclaimed until John. Since that time, the good news of the kingdom of God is being preached, and everyone is forcing his way into it ( Luke 16;16 )... LDS church says that we need current prophets .

    3. John 14;6 says we can only enter the kingdom of heaven through Christ alone ( LDS say Smith will be at the table )

  • @999LDS I'm with you... but you have to drop the whole "No one can see my face bit..." since Moses clearly did as well as 70 others!!! Unless we are talking about different Gods... which is ENTIRELY possible... Moses description of God's appearance was that he was translucent... which was certainly different from Joseph's final version, of his description...Gen32:30, EX. 33:11 KJV also NUM. 14:14, DEUT. 5:4, 34:10... also the Lord continually counseled people to "Seek His Face..."

  • @MaryMarchNewell " face to face " in hebrew means " personally " not that who was in God's prescence saw God's face . "God is a spirit" (John. 4:24). And "a spirit does not have flesh and bones" (Luke 24:39). So, again, God does not have a physical face. Being "face to face" with God simply refers to being in God's direct presence in an intimate way.

  • @999LDS Moses gave a description though of what God looked like, and described Him as "translucent". I'll get that reference for you along with the others. Moses clearly SAW God. And not only him, but 70 others.... As I said these may be different Gods. Why would Jesus and other prophets teach consistently and counsel us to "Seek God's FACE?" He may not have flesh and bones, but that doesn't mean He doesn't have a face!!! Spirits have faces and likenesses.

  • The LDS church is all about pyramid selling. You get 1 sucker who you can brainwash , he tells another gullible nutter who then tells another, and so on... bingo, you get a church !

Although now 150 members ask to have their names removed every day . Its the fastest growing church ? I think not !

  • @999LDS You have no facts but it would not matter since you are really not interested in them I see. Just the vomit of Mormon haters.........

  • Spin it Bill, spin it!

  • Or we could talk about LDS leaders who are the salt of the earth. But yours who you follow without question are the likes of Gov. Lillburn Boggs who you and your mob friends always seem to give a free ride too. Or the mob that killed Joseph and his brother innocently. You pick.

  • @scottwins2 ???? You do realize don't you that JS shot 2 men dead, and sat around drinking wine before he "Died as a martyr" ... He also made a masonic call out to the crowd below hoping it would save him. He was NOT unarmed in his room!

  • @MaryMarchNewell Joseph Smith was not under arrest, he was given the gun for protection and it was used as such. You forgot to note that his brother was already dead and the door open when Joseph fired the pepper box pistol. The mob came to the door with death. Wouldn't have you defended yourself? I would have. He would have done more but the gun jammed, which is common for that particular pistol. He did nothing illegal. As usaul you like all the other Mormon haters give the mob a free pass.

  • @scottwins2 Defend yourself? You need a little think here . Smith says he saw Christ and the Father ( although the bible says no one can see God in Exodus 33.20 ). Why would anyone who has seen God fire back ? It makes no sense . If I had seen God yesterday I will have no need to shoot back at anyone... as i will know my last day will not be the last . It just proves Smith was a murderer .

  • @999LDS Well, you need to have a talk with Moses of Exodus since he saw God and lived. In other words you would not defend yourself? His joice is that he did and it was not illegal so you have no argument.

  • @scottwins2 Its clear u dont read the bible. Its clear u read the BOM more then the bible. Face to face in Exodus 33;11 means Moses was with God close up. Exodus 33:20-23 clearly states his face was excluded . You know nothing ... except the words of a man who molested 14 yr old girls .

  • @999LDS You claim JosephSmith molested 14 yr old girls but provide no proof as usual.

  • @scottwins2 If I give you proof that he has sex with HELEN MAR KIMBALL , will you agree he was a molester ? Or will you say its lies, even if i give you proof ?

  • @scottwins2 Well, I'm impressed you know that much about it... Actually Scott I AM Mormon, as are most of my family members, and people I went to BYU with and served my mission with etc... I don't "Hate" Mormons. I DO hate lies and deceptions. I refuse to be led by so called Prophets who (Hinkley) go on 60 minutes, and Larry KING and tell BOLD FACED LIES about the churches doctrine and history and pretend to NOT KNOW what we currently teach as doctrine!!! Or who spend BILLIONS

  • @MaryMarchNewell Mary, Not trying to impress anyone. The fact is however on two points I have made here concerning your accuations of murder and wine drinking the perception you and others were and are not correct. Meaning on these issues Joseph is innocent. Secondly we need to remember that policies change and even some doctrine over time to suit the Lords purposes. Example, Blood Sacrifice to Sacrament, Jesus would have been killed just for introducing that to the Saduccees and Pharisees.

  • @MaryMarchNewell Today we need a prophet to help the church understand other issues too like abortion, drugs, and the like.

I don't believe basic doctrine has ever changed as Baptism for example, or what prayer can do. The Priesthood is real and used it in my home to bless others as the elders in The New Testament did. Which oil should we use? Not the oil Dennis Dees sells on his ministry, and certainly not 30wt Penzoil which I saw a minister use in the South, but pure olive oil.

  • @scottwins2 Do you realize how many Temple Ordinances have been altered??? And that by what we teach people as missionaries about "The apostasy" THAT IS Apostasy!!! All the penalties were removed in 1990, just before I went through the Temple. But my parents went through the Temple with them. Read Moses 5:29 Where Cain makes an oath with SATAN...Tell me WHERE else you've ever heard of an oath like that??? Next time in the Temple pay close attention to just WHOSE preisthoods

  • @scottwins2 That apron represents before they have YOU put it on... I'll give you a hint... Its NOT God's. Its right in front of you... hidden in plain sight. I know it takes time to see. It took me years. Open your eyes before its too late. The initiatory has had drastic changes even more recently. Also in regards to the "priesthood" They admit in conference that it ONLY WORKS to the degree of Faith and Worthiness of BOTH the person giving and receiving the blessing.

  • @scottwins2 I am a trained Quantum Touch user. ANYONE can heal each other with their hands!!! ANYONE... and it doesn't require faith to do it. It will work even if the patient is a skeptic! I only had ONE priesthood blessing that ever had any power, and that was on my mission, because those blessing me were my friends and truly LOVED me, therefore they were perfect conduits for the LOVE of God! I bless my children and they ARE HEALED & Protected!!! Do you know that JS taught that

  • @scottwins2 Women could practice laying on of hands to heal too? (Try teaching that in RS today!!!) Read the book "The Teachings of Joseph Smith" There's lots of awesome stuff in there. But you'd be excommunicated for talking about it today. IF JS was a prophet the church today is CLEARLY IN APOSTASY from what he taught! IF he wasn't they don't have a leg to stand on. Hinkley declared polygamy "UNDOCTRINAL" publically in an interview (I already told you where to find it!)

  • @scottwins2 That one utterance tears the church down to the ground! (One of the best oils to bless people with for protection is White Angelica- essential oil made by Young Living - a descendant of BY... It is worth its weight in Gold!) You can't get TRUTH from LIARS! Hinkley and Monson and OAks and Holland speak nothing but LIES! In another interview Hinkley stated "I don't know." when asked what the church's CURRENT position was on whether God was once a man. LIAR.

  • @scottwins2 What revelations has he given? People debate and argue with evolutionists all the time... Hinkley said "let the scientists work that out..." Really? But its important. It effects people's testimonies... Certainly that's what a LIVING prophet is FOR. To give us revelations that answer the questions we stumble over... Their is nothing LIVING or Prophetic, about the leadership of the LDS church today. The church leadership hasn't been all that clear on drugs/abortion...

  • @scottwins2 Even on the issue of ear rings they can't take a clear stand but politically compromise! (Its either ok to puncture and mutilate your body/ Temple of God, or not.) They decided that ONE piercing for women is ok... How about One drink? One R rated movie? As for the Word of Wisdom, ANY member that has barbeque in the summer breaks it! VS. 13 and 15 spell out very clearly what "eat meat sparingly" means! Members today are gluttons. and prozac addicts, so what if they don't

  • @scottwins2 drink or smoke??? They are still eatingthe King's meat and taking his anti-depressants. They're still gonna die! Oh... but they don't drink coffee... :)

  • @MaryMarchNewell I watched that program and I can't tell of any lies Hinkley said could you share with me what you thought the lies were? SM

  • @scottwins2 He declared Polygamy to be "UNDOCTRINAL" . Even though D&C 132 has not been rescended. Even though members are still sealed to multiple spouses for eternity when a spouse has died and they remarry... (BOTH WAYS, by the way... the way it was originally practiced. Women are also sealed to multiple husbands. If I were to remarry "for time" only, and had children. Those children could have me sealed to their father whether I wanted to be or not, despite that I'm alreadysealed

  • @scottwins2 About the whole eternal family thing anyway.... Think about this. MOST marriages that have occurred on the earth, and offspring that have been produced have NOT been by choice. It is a modern and romantic notion to "Be together Forever" but how many women who were sold into marriage by their father, or taken captive and MADE a wife, by their captor, WANT the LDS to SEAL them to their abusers for eternity just because children were produced???

  • @scottwins2 He also flaggrantly lied about church history. Pick up "Mormons and Polygamy" at the desseret bookstore. Early members wouldn't let their teenage daughters attend dances with boys their own age! They were afraid they couldn't go to heaven if they weren't living the "principle"...They made them go to dances with old married men. Where does that put teenage boys? How does one man have 50 wives and others dozens with an even birth ratio? They SHARE them!

  • @MaryMarchNewell but thats Saduceel not doctrine.

  • @scottwins2 on strip malls that they made the "executive" (as CEOs of the Corporation of the church) decision to keep open 24/7, and sell alcohol at... I know just growing their talents...;) They also lied stating publically they only spent $2K on prop 8, but when investigated, they had to later admit they spent $180K on it!!! You won't hear that 'accounting" in General Conference!!! Type in "Is Mormon Prophet Hinkley Lying" on Youtube to see his interview with Larry King.

  • @scottwins2 type in "Was the Mormon church lying over prop 8 expenses?" on youtube to see the Fox News clip on that... also type in "Masonic Mormon President-NWO" and see numerous clips of Monson and Bush Jr. exchanging Masonic/Temple handshakes on the cover of a SLC paper, at a meeting for "undisclosed" purposes... or the same handshake between Hinkley and Chenney when Chenney received an "honorary" degree from BYU! (Right after this honor Bush Jr. bestowed the highest civillian

  • @scottwins2 honor on Hinkley!!! Monson and brethren visited Obama and gave him his geneology as has been done with previous presidents. This is NOT just a kind gesture or missionary tool!! They KNOW Obama was born in Kenya and numerous other secrets that he holds.... What do they want for their silence??? How about some help getting Romney in the White House next eh???

  • It is true that Mormonism is not Neo Platoism that is believed by the Bible thumpers of this day.

  • Man....i dont know what you are talking about....I have been at BYU for the past 3 years and can remember one professor who we could say interpreted doctrine differently than the first presidency....this video is irrelevant...

  • Are you kidding me??? What we hear today at conference doesn't remotely resemble traditional church doctrines!!!

  • @MaryMarchNewell You mean praise Jesus! and put the money where your mouth is?

  • @scottwins2 ??? I don't get your response. What I mean is, that what is taught by the LDS church today does not even remotely resemble the church that Joseph and Brigham led!!! ie: Polygamy, Blacks having been "fence sitters" in the pre-existence, Adam/God doctrine (That used to be part of the endowment) Or how about The Word of Wisdom that NO ONE follows today!!! Read the first 6 verses of D&C89, as well as verse 13 &15!!! It doesn't tell people not to drink alcohol!!! On the

  • @MaryMarchNewell No one follows The Word of Wisdom? pretty tall statement. I see people livng clean pure lives everywhere. As for your comment on wine? There were two types of wine both with the same word in Greek, there was what we would call a table wine that families would drink all the way from Biblical times or a wine of hard liquor. The table wine was still being used during the time of Joseph Smith considered no offense. That later was redefined.

  • @scottwins2 contrary it tells members to MAKE THEIR OWN WINE!!! And to serve it as their sacrament each Sunday!!! Instead the modern LDS have turned Jesus' wine - to water.... Other churches DO make their own New Wine, The LDS COULD do it... Why don't they???

  • I'm not a Christian, but I still love watching Bill rail on stupid Mormons

  • @MrQwertyqwerty12345 Tell my why I am a stupid Mormon? I am not stupid all. I teach my children to be moral, honest, loving, God fearing, clean, virtuous, and you call us Mormons stupid? what would you have called Moses who killed an man then went up into a mountain and brought back commandments, he said he got from God? Stupid I guess.

  • @scottwins2 No, I call him fictional. Where would you like me to start, the inherent racism & bigotry in your theology & leadership, the obvious lies you promote about history or your reverence for the con man & child molester Joseph Smith?

  • @MrQwertyqwerty12345 Lets talk about Joseph Smith and about his Non Conjucal relationships. They were designed to bring families together. The critics vomit up each other accusations such as yourself and returing to it like lapping dogs. Knowing all the information available are second and third party but you would never mention that part I am sure. Oh by the way Plural marraige was Biblical.

  • @scottwins2 When you say accusations I’m not sure what you're referring to because the fact that he molested a 14 & 16 year old is pretty clear. I don't care what two, three or four consenting adults do, my problem is with creeps like Smith & Warren Jeffs that force children into it. How do you bring a family together by marrying another man’s wife?

  • @MrQwertyqwerty12345 As usual no facts nor did you answer any of my questions. Joseph Smith molested no one. What about his innocent murder?

  • @scottwins2 Where were your facts again? Also you didn't ask a question. Did he or did he not marry and have sex with a 14 & 16 year old? lol Innocent murder, after he burned down a newspaper suppressing one of this country’s most fundamental rights the freedom of speech & then gets drunk & shots what three people in the process.

  • @MrQwertyqwerty12345 You have no proof that Joseph had relations with anyone. Joseph was not involved in the newspaper press distruction. The city councel ordered it. You are judging the action by todays political correctness. Joseph Smith was not arrested and was killed by a mob innocently. As before you provide no facts.

  • @scottwins2 that’s not what his friends at the time said, the 16 year old didn't want to do it. You understand the mayor is the head of the city council right? Waite, a hundred years ago it was OK was for a con man to send a mob to burn down a newspaper to cover up his lies? Excuses, excuses, excuses. He certainly deserved it he shot three people in the process so he wasn't all that innocent.

  • @MrQwertyqwerty12345 Twist it, twist it. A mob brakesthrough a door having Killed a man Inocently and you say another can't defend himself. As usual your ilk give the mob a pass. Joseph fired after the fact. Note:He was not under arrest.

  • @scottwins2 Yeah, but how is that for a prophet shooting 3 people? You would think it would be like one of the thousands of Christian martyrs who went to their death willingly or hey how about they know not what they do. Should they have tried him & then killed him? Yes I thinks so, but I'm not going to cry over the death of a con man & child molester.

  • @MrQwertyqwerty12345

Shows what kind of person you are.

  • @scottwins2 You mean one with the capabilitie of critical thinking?

  • @scottwins2 Because you believe that a man who stuck his head in a hat , and who was fined $2.68 for glass looking was a prophet . Thats why !

  • @999LDS Before you spout off what some one said you might spend sometime in historical research. Joseph Smith was never fined for a crime, or found guilty of any crime in any court case. The $2.68 you refer to is a court charge for using court services in the New York case. Since you find the Church in contempt over this issue andyour statement not true you must surely now believe the church is true since you have been proven wrong in the matter.

  • @scottwins2 A. W. Benton, the man who filed the disorderly person complaint against Smith, also wrote an account of this 1830 trial also relates Stowell's testimony:

"Did Smith ever tell you there was money hid in a certain place which he mentioned? Yes. Did he tell you, you could find it by digging? Yes. . Did you find any money? No. Did he not lie to you then, and deceive you? NO, the money was there, but we did not get quite to it! How do you know it was there? Smith said it was.

  • @scottwins2 By November 1837, KSS failed and its business closed. In the aftermath, Mormon leader Joseph Smith was fined for running an illegal bank, many bankrupted Mormons left the church because they believed Smith had established the bank in order to enrich himself and the Mormon leadership

  • @999LDS Sorry no conviction.

  • @scottwins2 STATE OF NEW YORK v. JOSEPH SMITH.

Warrant issued upon written complaint upon oath of Peter G. Bridgeman, who informed that one Joseph Smith of Bainbridge was a disorderly person and an imposter. Prisoner brought before Court March 20, 1826.

  • @999LDS But no convction, sorry.

  • @scottwins2 Josiah Stowel sworn: says that prisoner had been at his house something like five months; had been employed by him to work on farm part of time; that he pretended to have skill of telling where hidden treasures in the earth were by means of looking through a certain stone; that prisoner had looked for him sometimes; once to tell him about money buried in Bend Mountain in Pennsylvania, once for gold on Monument Hill, and once for a salt spring

  • Check out the newest LDS General Authority's website.

"Foundation for Omniscient Observations of Latter day Saints"

    FOOLDS

  • Hello, all books have a disclaimer in the front that say it does not necessarily represent the LDS Church or BYU.

  • @LDStothecore Exactly, LDStothecore!! It's called "The LDS Sidestep". When confronted with the endless contradictions found within LDS, the leaders have to leave room for a "King's X". They sidestep with the unending "not doctrinal" and the never ending "taken out of context" excuses.

    LDS = L.ie D.eceive S.idestep".

  • @Outlaw1257 Believe what you like, but the LDS Church is God's only true church.

  • Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. Your Book of Mormon will not withstand any objective scrutiny or critical analysis.I spent several years actively investigating LDS, which I was encouraged to do. Unfortunately, the LDS Elders and Priests had no clue as to how exhaustive my research would be. You are unable to refute anything Bill McKeever is stating.

So now, you are reduced to empty rhetoric.

  • @Outlaw1257 Idiot McKeever cannot refute Joseph or anything in the LDS Church.

  • @LDStothecore LDSStoned, you are offering nothing but empty rhetoric and mindless insults. TRUTH is based in FACT; FACTS will withstand objective review and critical analysis.Bill McKeever is addressing issues point by point, and if you were paying attention, you would see that he is refuting BoM, DoC, and LDS with facts and substance. Your mindless name calling, lacking anything in the way of facts or substance, serves to expose the truth behind the good, holy, Mormon facade. Keep it up!!

  • @Outlaw1257 No, he is not. He, like all antis, makes his living attacking others. He, like the rest, refuses to even look at the research we have done.

  • @LDStothecore "He, (Bill McKeever) like the rest, refuses to even look at the research we have done."

Your unbridled ignorance abounds. The problem is NOT that We "anti's" haven't studied & scrutinized the work of LDS Apologists and so-called "experts". The problem for LDS is exactly the opposite. We HAVE researched LDS, BoM, DoC, PGP, & other LDS writings. We HAVE researched the so-called "evidences" which Mormons claim support their beliefs. LDS's claims do not withstand critical scrutiny.

  • @Outlaw1257 All that comes out of your small mind is blah, blah, blah. Just so you know, if you continue like this thinking that if the LDS are right, you can just accept it in the Spirit World, you are sadly mistaken. By then it will be too late for all of you.

  • @LDStothecore Facts fail you, substance fails you, your rhetoric is shallow and empty.... so now you're attempting to throw in the Mormon Mojo........ do you have ANYTHING of substance to offer?? So far, you've only succeeded in making my points for me. Keep it up!!

  • @Outlaw1257 You are a lost soul.

  • @Outlaw1257 I disagree with your clains you have stated here. Which claims do you refer to? That Governor LIllburn boggs signed and extermination Order, that one, or the claim that 18 Mormon men and sons were murdered at Hauns mill, that one? The claims that the Mob raped and killed women while there children watched, that one?

That the saints were driven west to escape the Mobs and unfair tyranny, is this what your refering too?

  • @Outlaw1257 I bet you would have rejected Moses also. I have been investigating the LDS church for nearly 40 years and I know it to be true.

  • @LDStothecore Once again, LDS/Core, you are responding with nothing more than empty rhetoric, with nothing of any substance.

  • @Outlaw1257 I saw your profile and the vile language you use, so you have zero credibility as a Christian.

  • @LDStothecore Ahhhh.... you are obviously referring to George Carlin's observations on religion. You may not like what he says, or how he says it, but he's right!! As far as my "credibility as a Christian"?? I'm not a Christian, so you need to call a different talk show with that axe to grind.

  • @LDStothecore How exactly is it true? so you found the great city of Zarahemla? You found Quakers on the moon? You dug up the Hill Cumorah and found swords and shields and stuff? I think not your just buying into this garbarge that the Mayans are some how tied with the book of mormon which is bull crap and long been proven wrong.

  • WOW! Hey, Joseph Fielding's MYTH, I have news for you: Brigham "likes 'em Young" taught this thing called the Adam-God Doctrine (not "theory"), and was adamant (pun intended) that it was a correct doctrine, and nearly excommunicated Orson Pratt for publicly refuting this DOCTRINE.

So, does that answer your stupid question, Joseph Fielding's MYTH?

By the way, if I were a BYU professor teaching that Brigham Young's Adam-God doctrine was false, would I get fired?

    EXCOMMUNICATED?

    Rewarded?

  • Like Grant Palmer?

For me, primary sources of history are leaps and bounds over the "faith" required in the church hierarchy. I recall learning about a certain Council of Nicea where a bunch of elitists decided who Jesus really was, even if it wasn't reality.

Who am I going to believe more? A bunch of men claiming power from God, or historians who have done real research? I'll take the latter. I also remember a certain King George who claimed to have power from God. Look what happened then.

  • This is good and accurate information to have re BYU profs vs. the LDS authorities.

  • I have fixed the problem. Sorry, It was on my end.

  • I like the new vids. but the sound is quite bad. Any changes coming?

  • Thanks much for the feedback on the audio quality. Can you be more specific? Does it sound mechanical to you?

  • Sounds a lot like Islam...scholars contradicting each other.

  • imagine that,,,! you can't trust the "scholars" at byu. and since it's a proven fact that joseph smith was a false prophet, and that he did not "translate" either the bom from "reformed egyptian," or the king james bible from the king james bible, or the book of abraham from an egyptian funerary document, we can dismiss what the leaders mormon org. and the pope of utah have to say about anything of eternal value.

if the truth hurts, you don't have the truth. Jesus came to set us free

  • It's difficult to get a straight answer from Mormons, they like to lead you down rabbit holes.

  • @tezkingkong Ask me a question I am a so called Mormon. if you are looking for a straight answer you first must have a question, what is it?
