You need to chill with your strumming, doing it too fast, and you're doing something with your mouth too? O.o I admire your enthusiasm to try to teach, but shirtless and this young and early into playing probably isn't the best time to do it. And when you strum, extent your pinky, ring, and middle fingers, get them out of the way when you play, and you're muffling sound, I believe, or it's out of tune hardcore. idk, good luck mate.
