hi, I just bought this XBi2 and paired with the iPhone 3GS. I was disappointed it does not support the voice control on the 3GS Iphone. Otherwise Xbi2 seems good
ive watched all your videos. ive paired both my ipod with the icombi, and my iphone via bluetooth. worked great. one question though. Since I dont always keep my phone in bluetooth mode, and i go to sync up with my xbi2, is there a easy way to just turn on my phones bluetooth feature on, then sync with xbi2? Cause it seems like, the ipod connects easily following your instructions, but when i go to connect my phone it seems as though the pairing process needs to be done again. Any thoughts?
you may want to leave the bluetooth feature ON at all times on the iphone. Even if you are not paired with anything this is what I do. Then all you have to do is turn the XBi2 on and after a couple seconds push the power button once. It will then dial your last number called. Once it does that push "end call" and you are now paired.
I just purchased an XBi2 unit and have an iPhone. Once I pair the iPhone with the XBi2, i'm good to go for both phone calls AND playing music from the iPhone?
3G iphone plugging in the the icombi will allow you to stream the music. It will tell you that the device is NOT compatible but you just click ignore or no. If you have the 3.0 update or 3GS model it already has a2DP so you will not need to plug the icombi in.
