I don't see Lexus changing it's name. but it's possible Toyota might revive the Supra with a bigger engine and handling characteristic similar to this car now that they have some experience. they're not stupid. a lot of people want this car but can't afford it so a revive Supra might be an affordable alternative.

Will this car as-raced pass USA state vehicle inspection requirements? Before the Viper gets pissed on, bear in mind that it passes California state requirements for a street-driven car, which are the most restrictive (constrictive) specs in the USA. the zr1, also, was timed with no after-purchase modifications. What about the LF-A? Anyone? To me it sounded like it had no exhaust muffler, which all by itself disqualifies it from any Viper/Corvette comparison.

Time it in street-legal trim!

@hemanhutch30 Are you sure about that as the LFA killed Corvette Audi Aston Martin in the Nurburgring 24 hour race this year.The LFA has a better HP to weight Ratio than the ZR-1 aswell.

They did better this year. The cars were really fast (fastest in class) but had reliability issues. 1 LF-A crashed and was out for more than 6 hours then it had to go back for repair at the end of the race. The other LF-A faired better reliably but went in close to the end for repair as well. 80th - something over all.
