  • Hi there I have a question about the Suhr s4 guitar. Can you choose different fret sizes on the pro series guitars? I really don't like jumbo frets. I used to have an Ibanez RG550 and played a few other Ibanez prestige guitars whit jumbo frets and I rather played my other 200$ noname guitar. So if you compare the frets with Ibanez jumbo frets are they bigger on the Suhr s4? Thanks for the answers.

  • Sounds cool! Love the Suhr tone.

  • dude... fuck all the critics... i can't play this fast... I hear your soul... if there is one good player there are 100 haters... keep rocking.. i have this head and love it.

  • I like your unique style of playing, thanks for all your videos.

By the way, have you played Engl amp before,if yes,

what did you think about the dynamics and voicing

of this amp for the style of music that you play.

  • Great feel for guitar, tone in fingers also. :)

  • Lol, yeah right a monkey could play this. Jackass.

  • Hi I wish you success

  • Suhrギター、欲しい!

  • your like the vin diesel of shredding man. sounds awesome. on your suhr's which do you like better rosewood or maple? and not just on tone but feel and playability. maybe even your opinion on the aesthetics too.

  • Have you had any S2 for the Alder body/Maple fingerboard combo?

It comes standard as the SSV in bridge but I wonder about how the SSH+ would do.

  • Ah I know why - the guitar ain't reacting to your studio monitors as the cab would have. You need another pair of hands at the desk ;)

  • another wank fest..whatever happened to playing with soul and actually playing something with meaning rather than a bunch a mechanical patterns? a monkey could play this...a lot of sub par guitar players everywhere but only a few great ones and this guy is unimpressive...just saying

  • @eptonehome u mad?

  • @SteveHubbardGuitar

hahahahahahahahaha .. eptonehome .. man which monkeys ur hanging with .. the ones here only jump trees..

@steve .. man watching ur videos make me feel like breaking my bank and buying suhr's .. not cool bro :D great playing as usual !!

  • @SteveHubbardGuitar he mad.

  • @SteveHubbardGuitar bahahahaha!! U MAD? U MAAAAD! :)

  • @SteveHubbardGuitar I like your playing very much, very nice, thanks for uploading! :)

  • @eptonehome Maybe hes expressing love for machinery and engineering. I thought it was decent. And no, a monkey could not play this.

  • @eptonehome agreed. this is some bullshit.

  • @BertilUlfsson sorry bro, i didn't mean to upset you with my playing. please accept my apology

  • @eptonehome

    "just saying"

What you're ACTUALLY saying is that you're deaf and stupid - not really in a position to pass judgment, then...

  • @cbertram11 perhaps I should sell all my gear and spend the money on a car with cool rims? surely that makes much more sense then putting my hard earned money into the passion that drives my life..... thanks for the advice!

  • @SteveHubbardGuitar or mabey you should say fuck everyone and make a video in accouple of months of you playing some awesome shit and prove everyone rong lol!

  • @SteveHubbardGuitar How dare you make an independent choice regarding how your money is spent. The Elders of Youtube should always be consulted before you even think about the privilege of having a passion. For shame.

  • @SteveHubbardGuitar Just let them speak man..they are only jelous I guess..keep on your work and passion!! cheers from Italy

  • @eptonehome OK..So post your own video, and let us decide who plays better? What? I can't hear you? No? That's what I thought.

  • @eptonehome this is quality mate!

  • @eptonehome Show us how it's done. :) Until then... Shut the hell up :D

  • What the hell happened to tone at the last couple seconds? Sounded like it had no connection with the speaker.

  • @macman8680 I don't know what you mean? Explain..

  • @SteveHubbardGuitar You know by the look on your face at that point. Probably the Cornford and it's cab need very high gain to really connect. Unless it's just the lack of mid going through the basswood. Thanks anyway Steve you made me buy my first Suhr S2 - on it's way! Now I want to play like you hehe.

  • 0.46 was just rediculously good

  • @secondcup321 ha.. actually, 46 until the end is probably my favourite part of the vid

  • 3 suhrs? bloody hell...

  • Great playing man!

What's the big difference between the mk50 and the roadhouse 50?

  • Wonderful man.. any songs in the makings, with a whole band/programmed instruments?

  • Try a tremel-no like GG. It works for him so it ought to work for you.

  • @fbender722 I actually have used one in the past.. It doesn't really improve stability though..

  • I am wondering how have you set up your tremolo bridge? Is it flush with the body or is it floating. If you for example bend one string, the bridge stays in its original position or it moves upwards?

  • @nevenlisica the springs are cranked - no movement from the trem.. as much as i like having the option to use a trem, i don't think the trade off is worth it (tuning stability)

  • awesome!

  • sounds awesome buddy!

  • really awesome tone and playing.

  • TONE!

  • I love this kinda technique; almost looks it's the first time you've held a guitar. Before I get any negative feedback, this was not meant to be disrespectful; I like a different approach, seems you've mastered your instrument in your own way.

  • @pockthehairy I don't get what you mean? How does it look like it's the first time he held a guitar? Because he actually held his thumb behind the neck instead of above?

  • @MyLifeChanger Just doesn't look like the standard way to hold/play it, again no disrespect meant haha

  • @MyLifeChanger Having your thumb behind the neck is techinically the correct way to play.

  • @pockthehairy Hmm.. Maybe because of the stool I'm on.. I generally use a stand for my foot. Check out some of my other vids n see if you find the same!

  • @SteveHubbardGuitar Ahhh nah dont be put off by what I'm saying. You're more or less in the position I'm trying to get to with guitar at the moment. So I'm rather jealous haha. But yeah daat fockin technique works, I've seen a few other guitarists use it as well. I'll checkkk yo other videos now, nice sly promo slipped in there, nice haha

  • @pockthehairy Hah.. I'm not offended, I just wanna know what you're looking at.. Check out some other vids n let me know!

  • @SteveHubbardGuitar I think he's talking about your hand position. Its just that you keep your thumb behind the neck so you can stretch farther and do legato easier

  • @qwertyuiop8642 A lot of 'shredders' keep their thumb behind their neck on purpose, in fact having your thumb over the neck is technically incorrect.

  • @pockthehairy

"Matered your instrument in your own way". WOW, thats an understatement. I've been playing for 30 years and am nowhere near this talent level. My kids are out of the house soon though so I'm really hoping to get back to some learning phases. Steve's legato and picking techniques are simply heavenly. What an inspiration you are to listen to Steve - I can't get enough.

    Dean

  • Awesome sound :D, we need more licks of the week :D

  • stop making me feel bad about my guitar playing abilities Steveeee ;) haha

epic as usual matey, keep it upppp

  • Nice stuff as usual.

  • really great technique! I love it! Congratulations! Greetings!

  • Great stuff!
