The same people who are decrying this behavior are the ones who were either demonstrating and slandering George Bush, or supporting those who did. They are more concerned with partisanship than freedom, it seems. I did a quick google search and found a dishonest website saying the government wanted you to turn in any one that disagrees. He even has links to the white house webpage that says if you recieve any emails that seems dishonest they want to see what the email says..

Yes i did look it up (when i read your original post and again today) and thought i posted a response here but youtube doesn't always like me.
They are asking people to show them emails with "fishy" claims on it so they can address these claim publicly.
I see no hint of insidiousness in it. If they where asking for the names or addresses of people saying these things then your concerns could be justified but even then there is no government agency that could do anything with those names.

Clearly he knows how to contact his rep if he called his office. Why didn't he discuss the issues he had with his rep. while on the phone, or through e-mail, or through a letter? Why must his contact be made in a public meeting? And then, when he finally gets the opportunity to speak to his rep, he complains about not being able to speak to him.

If I get into a car wreck and need numerous amounts of surgery, do I get on a long waiting list for treatment and anwer to my insurance company? - lose my house and go into bankruptcy because I cannot afford to pay off my medical bills? Do I just get left to fend for myself? Do I beg Kaiser-Permenente, Blue Cross to cover everything I need? Should I keep forking out a lot of money every month to ease the worry that I might need coverage later, only to be turned down when I DO need it? ?????

Die??? The only people dying from a lack of health care are the 25,000 people in the US who die every year, some of them on the floors of emergency rooms. Bet you never heard about that did you? Or what about the close to 50 million people who have no insurance at all, and another 75 million who are under insured. There are US citizens who go to the UK and Canada too for operations and surgeries of all types. Thats been happening for decades. Whats your point?
