That is not the point though. It doesn't matter WHO made it more popular, it was originally performed by the Cure, so the intro to this cover is of the wrong information.

If you guy's harmonies weren't so close in range to each other, the slight intonality prob wouldn't have been noticeable. Try moving either one up or down an octave, or just swtiching the harmony to the bottom end and melody above it....might sound amazing.  :) good luck and solid cover.

Go look at the 311 version of love song on youtube, it has almost 4million sevenhundred thousand hits(4,700,000). The cure's version has 20,000. Yeah the numbers don't lie buddy. Eat it you hater.

I like the effort to make your own interpretation, but you prolly shouldve just let her do the singing. Im not tryin to sound mean, i just think it wouldve allowed you to be more creative with the guitar and let her voice shine through. I do like the arrangement though, very unique!

A different take on this one. I thought the singing was good, but also felt the harmonies were over done. I enjoyed it much more when you guys would switch off, though that sounded real cool. Nice guitar work by the dude on the left, ha. Overall a pretty good cover. Good luck to both of you.
