Great cartoon! Flash is fun to work with. I do flash animations myself. The art work is a bit simple in my animations, but that makes for faster animating. Check them out on my channel if you get a chance.

but i prefer the thumbnail sketch on the paper. It's up to you.

and I don't have much time for this hobby job now.

I was wondering how long it took you to complete this video?? and did you use adobe flash?? I am a high school student and am very interested in creating animations because they're not limited by resources, actors, etc like film directors are

Well....I can't remember whole day of this. I guess It tooks about 2 ~ 3days. It was a long time ago.

And ....Yes, I use adobe flash programe for making animaion.

As you noted, It is great tool to learn & test animation skill and idea.

Normally i draw into paper and then scan it and.......revised in Adobe Flash.

Sometimes i draw it in flash programe only.

That must take ages using paper?! I'm Thinking about learning how to be cartoonist, I recently uploaded a cartoon but the animation sucks, I've just used mainly stills, can you check it out and tell me what u think and what techniques I should use? Thanks man

Well, In case of me I learned some basic skills of cartoon and animation from acadamy. But that is just a basics So i have to learn so many things by myself in the work area. Everyday sketches is very important. I checked your uploaded footage. That's good ,well make for the mood like heavy style. If you consider some animation skill (You don't have to make move every part of body) like partial movement and camera works, It comes out more well done food, Keep up the good work. Youtube is useful.

And one more thing, As i mentioned before My normal method is drawing in paper first, scan it (jpg, png whatever) then import it into flash programe , and redrawing it by flash tool (this part is similiar with illust programe), and finally i separate each part for the animation.
