@ashikadil19 I'm self-taught, and even though I can play drums, I know very little about drum notation...but (from what I understand) he is playing 8th notes, not quarter notes...count the 1-2-3-4 on the 1, 2, 3, and 4 of his count of "1-and-2-and-3-and-4-and...so with 8th notes here,

8th note #1 = 1 bass drum

8th note #2 = and

8th note #3 = 2 snare

8th note #4 = and

8th note #5 = 3 bass drum

8th note #6 = and

8th note #7 = 4  snare

8th note #8 = and

@ashikadil19 You're welcome...I have news for you - it was not until this past year (after having played on-&-off since late 1973) that I learned about understanding the notation correctly...in fact (because I mistakenly considered the 8th notes as quarter notes) I could not figure out why (it seemed that) the snare would come in on the 3rd beat in the 1st measure and on every 4th beat in the 2nd measure (and onwards)...it looks like BOTH of us have learned something!...hehe...
