Hotel, airplane, itenerary. Every musician you can name, if they were signed to ANY record label had obligations to release albums in a timely manner according to their contract terms. It is still a full time job and bills must get paid which means they must deliver the goods.

I have to argue. Cocaine is the single most addictive drug. Heroin a strong second. heroin is harder to get off. Coke will suck your bank and heroin will suck your life. People do function on meth for a long time.
I won`t say you`re wrong. I`ve known Vietnam vets and musicians who looked worse than cancer patients trying to kick heroin. Cocaine withdrawal is not even close. But the lengths a coke addict will go to for just one hit or not come down is so extremely insane that I have to believe it is more addictive. I did coke for a long time too but, walked away from it one day for no reason. When I wanted it, nothing could stop me. I snorted H occasionally. I never mainlined. Everyone`s exp varies.
Alcohol kills more. Probably tobacco inhalers a strong second. Both of these kill others around you as well while using or under. There are variables with anything. Alcohol takes more lives. Anyone can od on H first try. Not likely. Anyone can die of poisoning or die in a horrible crash or die doing something supid on alcohol. However it is less addictive. I think hangovers have everything to do with that rather than genetics.
I admire henry rollins tremendously, I think he's a great inspiration and very goal oriented man. I do disagree with his views on drugs and alcohol. If anyone is stupid enough to lead that kind of miserable lifestyle, I think they should be able to. it doesn't make any sense to me at ALL how people can be proud to be on drugs. I don't get why you would put your life at risk just to get "high" or maybe you think it makes you cool and manly? ha well i would never be proud to be on anything like meth or heroin or crack, but there are some drugs that i am very proud of taking. like acid, shrooms, salvia, DMT, and even just pot. basically, harmful drugs suck, but safe, unharmful, mind opening drugs are awesome. and i suggest you do your research before you say any of those are harmful because they arent. and honestly, they made me a better person. after experiencing them, i am a total pacifist and wouldnt hurt a fly, let alone a person

I actually take the time to read about drugs (harmful or not) and their side effects so if or when I want/decide to try them, I know what i'm in for and I know what they're meant to do to your body/mind.
But yeah, drugs like Heroin or Meth can fuck you over so fast if you're not careful.

in retrospect I think I should've worded this better...I don't mean that people on drugs are stupid, I just don't think it's a good decision. I also think it's parodoxical to use the words "safe" and "drug" in the same sentence...though I'm trying to accept that for some people it's just how they have fun. I would compare to like how I like roller coasters - like drugs, a roller coaster isn't neccessary to live but it's fun and though there are risks, I won't necessarily die...I guess...

I agree to an extent, psychedelic drugs do open your eyes. But then again he is sensible enough not to fall into the 'drug crowd'. Which lets face it, is a stupid crowd to get into. It's not glamorous or good looking from those who havn't expierienced it.

I have to argue. Cocaine is the single most addictive drug. Heroin a strong second. heroin is harder to get off. Coke will suck your bank and heroin will suck your life. People do function on meth for a long time.

I won`t say you`re wrong. I`ve known Vietnam vets and musicians who looked worse than cancer patients trying to kick heroin. Cocaine withdrawal is not even close. But the lengths a coke addict will go to for just one hit or not come down is so extremely insane that I have to believe it is more addictive. I did coke for a long time too but, walked away from it one day for no reason. When I wanted it, nothing could stop me. I snorted H occasionally. I never mainlined. Everyone`s exp varies.

Alcohol kills more. Probably tobacco inhalers a strong second. Both of these kill others around you as well while using or under. There are variables with anything. Alcohol takes more lives. Anyone can od on H first try. Not likely. Anyone can die of poisoning or die in a horrible crash or die doing something supid on alcohol. However it is less addictive. I think hangovers have everything to do with that rather than genetics.

I admire henry rollins tremendously, I think he's a great inspiration and very goal oriented man. I do disagree with his views on drugs and alcohol. If anyone is stupid enough to lead that kind of miserable lifestyle, I think they should be able to. Plus, it'll be better for society as a whole if we just let these dumb idiots kill themselves. we don't need them. But Go Henry Rollins. oh yeah, I don't agree with his views on prostitution either.
