-have to remember to take case off before syncing ipod so you want damage computer

I could never get a case like this, because i would forget to take the case off of it and we cant afford breaking a computer it is valuable to us.

As long as you keep it 6 inches away from your hard drive you are fine. You can keep it off to the side. I have placed magnets on hard drives to test this out in the past and it is not as easy as you would think. It would only erase data, it would not damage your devices in any way.

only magnetic based storage is affected by magnets. Flash memory will not be affected by magnets, only hard drives.

the nano, iphone and ipod touch do not have a hard drive in them. They have flash memory. Only the ipod classic and ipod video have hard drives in them as well as the older iPods and iPod mini.

I'll do a video with the details of the giveaway. The music that disappeared may be due to you using the sync option with the iPod as opposed to manually drag and dropping your music...hard to say if it's not that
