yes ! i lived with my cousin for only a small time...and the books that she had collected over the years had flooded her entire home....books were thrown about here and there .. it was such a magical place to be ..I MISS IT SO....indeed , you helped me remember that......

They never quite say what the reason is, they say "we've had to disable your video because you may or may not have violated copyright." Well, there you go, you pick a song from almost a half century ago and bam!

How did you get that advance copy of Walter Newkirk's new book? I guess "rank" does have its privileges? I can't get my books under control either! The age old problem of bibliophiles. Orson Welles used to store his books in the shower and bathe in the pool! I can see from MPS yearbook you are still close to the family. You look great for your age by the way-I couldn't help but notice how lovely your arms are! Do you still find time to swim?

Joey~how kind! Well, Walter sent me an advance copy, so I did luck out. I'm glad to hear Orson had the same problem. Now that Kindle is here and people are so much more computer oriented, I get a lot of flack from friends for having so much paper around. I feel a room is cold and naked without a book in it.

Oh, Giannireb68, you thrill me with your praises! Some time ago, somebody sold a Miss Porters yearbook on Ebay and I won. I believe it was for year 1943 (too late for Edie and too soon for Jackie).  Thanks for watching!
