@KATOMATE01 You're certainly entitled to your opinion mate. Lyric sampling isn't what I do. It's boring and easy IMO. I like editing things and twisting them into something new. If it's not your cup of tea, all good. Cheers.
@DJVespers lol now your making me feel bad for what I said....I take it back...the remix is well made, just not the kind of remixes I particularly enjoy. I've been watching a lot of your tutorials after switching over to Abelton today and you have helped me a lot. I still find a lot of the beat building confusing. Question actually, where can I get a decent amount of instrument sounds like most people have on Abelton? All I can find right now is like the 8 simple impulse ones...any suggestions?
This is amazing. You need to submit your music to some blogs and get your stuff on hypemachine. Thank you so much for taking the time to make the tutorials, they are very helpful!
@onesixlovee Hey mate, I learned on a couple other sequencers first then switched to Live. Spent lots of time messing about, watching other producers, reading manuals and Computer Music Mags and such. One of the best ways to learn is Youtube or getting tutored.
@MutantCheeseburger The bassline is actually not panned at all my friend. You never pan bass or kicks in dance music, that would be silly. You always do them in mono or center panned. The top patch for the bass uses stereo widening, that's it. No panning.
@MutantCheeseburger The synth leads, also, are not panned. I believe you're mistaking stereo widening and oscillator detuning/spread for panning. In any case, the effect is intentional and I'm happy with the mixdown.
this is great, very comendable that you have helped out new producers with tutorials. Even if they appear to have the same complexity as nuclear physics!
@Winxz8 Hey mate. No, I use Mac and db blue glitch is PC only. The vocals are edited using a combination of techniques. The chops are done with "slice to new midi track", then glitched manually with midi. The granular time stretched ones are done in Sugarbytes Effectrix. I'm uploading 9 videos at the moment all behind the scenes on how I made this remix. Stay tuned!

hey vespers, is there a particular reason why you are panning the drums to the left? or is it just what you liked for this track?
thanks, cheers

Nice one there Vespers, I've been following your tutorials and appreciate them! I'd really love to see more from you soon!
I like the dirty, groovy approach for the remix. Definitely kicks asses in big systems and clubs, I guess.
