? about this high end cheap system ? I want to use it as A nas network storage drive, does it have room for A second Hard Drive? Normaly I would just use the floppy drive as A second Hard drive bay, open the floppy cover for more air flow, this would be A cheap solid Nas system
i bought this system (Duo core with 1.8 gig i think with 2 gig ram) for €80,- (lets say $100) for my mother. Have windows 7 32 bit installed (pro) and the machine works like a charm. If you need a cheap good desktop pc for your school/work (so typing and surfing/watchin vids) then this pc is a great buy.
mine is not USFF , its SFF. Its little biger and longer than the USFF.... had a 2 pice slots for video cards, and i upgrded it to 6gb of ram. HP Compaq dc7700 sff
i got dc 7700 sff with core 2 duo E6400 2.13ghz, ram 4Gb ddr2, ati hd 4350 1024Mb, and 160GB hdd.... every game runs fine... gta 4 on high, very high settings
I have a amd phenom X4 (BE) at 3.2G each, with 4GB Ram (think DDR3 though not sure) and an Ati HD 4850, and i cant play GTA4 on the highest settings without major lagspikes etc. I can play Crysis 2 singleplayer on the highest level with about 20 to 15 fps average. So y, LIES!
Its been about a year since i played that game (around the time i build my pc). Saying with a low end Duo Core and a low end gpu that you can play GTA4 with highest settings (so also distance, AA etc), still sounds like LIES 2 me.
i have this computer. it is EXTREMLY quiet and has good specs. i have an 8800 gtx graphics card but i cant seem to get into bios to overclock my cpu. i REALLY wanna play unreal tournemant 3 but i cant find the bios button when it boots. how do i go to bios?
ohh and btw my computer has dvd-cd rom so the one on the video is american but mine is european. i got mine from iceland for FREE. hard drive was broken so i got a 160 gb hard drive.
hm.. I would try F2, if it does not work, F12. If that fails, do the rest of the function keys, if that fails, press the delete button above the arrow keys(I'm not kidding). But honestly, I dought this computer supports overclocking.
For FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
ABSOLUTELY....NOT!!...the thing can barely run Vista...this is an office computer really. Simple apps and modest graphical programs. No Crysis, COD4, Bioshock, NO HIGH END GAMES!!
im sorry kyle111123 but you are soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo dumb, and maybe a bit retarded. oh, and a fool.
@bobth3 its not bad for accessing internet and typing up word documents. its cheap small and gets the job done. although i would really prefer a better unit cuz this is all i got right now

This is a office pc all over. But I have experiences with ATi x1300 Pro 256MB and the little thing can really pack a punch (from time to time).

My school has these. They're all right. We usually play CS:S or TF2 on LAN.
The admins always wonder what causes the high bandwidth usages xP
