go to filmtoolsdotcom and they have a suction mount for 75 dollars im a stormchaser and thats what i use for my dash cam it will mount on iside or outside and easy to move
I know the show is a farce, but maybe someone knows what kind of camera mounts they use on operation repo? Anytime you see the cameras in the cab of the truck, it's a common camera on a mount in the back window inside. Perfect for all weather use, maybe you use a night vision version for night repos?

here is another suggestion. i was at autozone the other day and saw a camera that mounts onto your license plate so you can see behind you while backing up and it has a monitor in the cab if you had one of those you could have a better view of your hitch while driving and narrate what your doing when you hook up to a vehicle and it was somewhere between 50 and 100 bucks

If a person stuck a sheet of paper or a little card on the dash to cover the vin and had the door locks changed, Other than plates how could you identify a car? Do you check with the dmv?
Yes I do check with dmv, jsut sign in and run it on my laptop before I hunt for it unsually. Well you can make a key if able to and it should unlock it if the right vehicle then vin it if plate is different. And yes some have been known to slim into it and vin it too! Gotta be sure it is the one before taking it..

People think slings damage cars and maybe if not done correctly or certain types of cars it can't be used. Yes wheel lifts are awesome, certainly costly and it is neccessary to get out and strap down the wheels on siome repos if they need to drag one out to flip around, and not only that they cannot tow all wheel drives. Each has there preference.

1: Change your plate.. This is easy and cheap to do! #2 Take a peace of Duck tape "Cover up your vin in the windsheld... #3: Peal off the vin number inside the drivers door jam! 4: Change your phone number to a unlisted number!
5: If someone calls u don't knwo Hang up right away. 6: if u get anything in the mail.. like a pen or other small device. Get rid of it asap "Its a repo tracking device

Hi Andy, there really isn't any damamge (rarely) I mean they all felx and pop back. Used to do the board even a carpeted one but the when you have to chain it quick to go well the board just isn't in the mix. Never a complaint yet from banks or redeemers! RR
Hey Marshall awd vehs for me are as easy to get because I sling them and it allows the two wheels off the ground to turn versus a wheel lift truck, you know what I mean? i do go slow with them if I can't put them in neutral but I have twoed awd Merceds G rides and Jeeps Cherokees even an awd Porsche all without problems or damage.

Good deal. FEB and Mar cause people getting tax rfunds and pays current, but a lot go buy new vehs with their refund and then can't pay payments so picks up again as well.
Hay again, well the older ones would lock up at 25 miles per hour I think but the newer ones you can actually b put them in Neutral for towing. need the key at least a mechanical one for the ignition and then just push the neutral two button and it disengages all drives. Then put back when at the yard!! Not to worry repod tons and tons of them and and mostly new now. Thanks RR

Sinceyour alwayws mounting the camera with tape why not just make a mount to put it on. Like blot an old tri-pod base to where you mount the camera.

i understand the sumpathy for the owners but id say whats attached to the car stays in the car.puss on a newer car with a bumper cover like that put a 2x4 above the chains so it pulls up on the 2x4 instead of the cover..the car lot or banks might complain less about damage

Hi Andy, there really isn't any damamge (rarely) I mean they all felx and pop back. Used to do the board even a carpeted one but the when you have to chain it quick to go well the board just isn't in the mix. Never a complaint yet from banks or redeemers! RR

Hey Marshall awd vehs for me are as easy to get because I sling them and it allows the two wheels off the ground to turn versus a wheel lift truck, you know what I mean? i do go slow with them if I can't put them in neutral but I have twoed awd Merceds G rides and Jeeps Cherokees even an awd Porsche all without problems or damage.

Good deal. FEB and Mar cause people getting tax rfunds and pays current, but a lot go buy new vehs with their refund and then can't pay payments so picks up again as well.

Hay again, well the older ones would lock up at 25 miles per hour I think but the newer ones you can actually b put them in Neutral for towing. need the key at least a mechanical one for the ignition and then just push the neutral two button and it disengages all drives. Then put back when at the yard!! Not to worry repod tons and tons of them and and mostly new now. Thanks RR
