Today 21-04-2011 is the second death anniversary of Iqbal Bano .She sang this famous ghazal of Ghalib in her melidious voice very effectively .In this video many legends of Urdu literature can be seen for example Ahsan Danish,Ashfq Ahmad and some other creative writers.She was a legend of classical singing in subcontinent.she sang classical Urdu poetry and her voice conquered the hearts of the listeners.This voice and the poetry will be remembered for ever.May their soul rest in peace in heaven.

WAH WAH chehrafroug e mey say gulistan kiaey hueay, Everybody has to go but some of them from this mehfil left us very early and took amazing talent with them. people of this kind of caliber comes very rare and god bless them. thanks brother for providing us great melody and mehfil of the century, i am one of the people who watched these mehfils on ptv in early 1970's and still remember those days.thanks
