Very awesome documentary and definitely a big nostalgia rush since the PS was my first game console. I'm glad Sony survived as well with Nintendo despite what they did to them. Long live the Playstation Sony, a classic in gaming history.
I think the problem with Sony is that they made their systems so expensive in the beginning. I remember back when the Psone was about 299 and then PS2 was about 399 before they dropped it to 299 and of course, the infamous Ps3 when it originally debutted at 599. Be that as it may, I am still a Sony fan, just that they should be more reasonable with their prices, especially for the upcoming system because not a lot of people can pay that much in todays economy.

Besides, none of the next generation consoles at that time had anything to do with the Dreamcast not being able to take off. Sega's market share was already in decline at the beginning of 2000, and the only other boost in sales they got, was in the Summer of 2000, just after the loophole to play pirated games was discovered, go figure.

I was like 10 when I started watching it, and I never released that it was a documentary series, because it was so interesting and I thought documentary's in general were boring.

if yall hate the ps3 controller because of the trigger buttons you can pick up a thumb strigger mod from best buy for like $5 or less. Anyway... i remember seeing PS1 in toys R us display thinking "shapes for button labels are stupid and confusing". Because of this i didnt buy it on the launch. I think the problem with Sony is that they made their systems so expensive in the beginning. I remember back when the Psone was about 299 and then PS2 was about 399 before they dropped it to 299 and of course, the infamous Ps3 when it originally debutted at 599. Be that as it may, I am still a Sony fan, just that they should be more reasonable with their prices, especially for the upcoming system because not a lot of people can pay that much in todays economy.

After that all the media tried to kill Sony's PS3 so Microsoft and it's 360 could grow and it almost worked but Sony's PS3 did not die but almost did. Rofl, no, it just would've been the Gamecube crushing the Dreamcast instead had it not been for the PS2. Besides, none of the next generation consoles at that time had anything to do with the Dreamcast not being able to take off. Sega's market share was already in decline at the beginning of 2000, and the only other boost in sales they got, was in the Summer of 2000, just after the loophole to play pirated games was discovered, go figure.

Back to sega they were always looking ahead, taking risks that was a small reasons for their downfall. The DC was ahead of it's time and was a Swan Song for sega. I get chills when i boot up my PS1 and the classic sony/playstation logo comes on. Ps1 was something special.

Here I was with hundreds of PS2 games I couldn't even play. I had sold my PS2 because I thought I wouldn't need it. I personally own both an x-box and a PS3 though.
