Every good QB has a bad year. Favre had 30 INt's in 2005 and had a better offensive unit than Cutler. Difference here is that if Orton stayed with the Bears, our record would have been worse. If Cutler was still with Denver, They would be in the playoffs and with a Division win.

Over hyped (17-21) QB Bears defense still sucks. THe Bears defense who ranked 30th in pass def. hasn't done anything in the offseason so that means 7 wins tops for bears in 2009. Teal it depends on how good or bad Orton is, He has all the talent around him on Offense so he has a chance to thrive in a system similar to what he ran at Purdue. 2nd part of that is the revamped Defense Denver has this year. How quickly can they gel. If they can Gel fast and Dawkins can lead them on D, they have a good chance, but until we see these guys in preseason I honestly can't give you a straight answer. On paper it looks like Denver has a tough schedule, but so does Oakland, KC, and SD

I agree i doubt royal will have as good of a year as before like you said royal needed cutler he cant make orton a better Qb hes not that type of WR he was only a rookie who had a good year regardless he was a rookie that nobody expected him to do much this year,but with orton he wont be as good i guarantee that

the bears have no draft for two years huh, so there is only 1 round to a draft according to toddincali. yeah we'll see how good marshall and royal are with orton behind center. don't let certain stats fool you the man can't throw accurately farther than 10 yards. there will be no bombs in denver for awhile, unless you include mcdaniels career. cutler has the fastest man in football (hester) to throw to. plus the bears are gonna get some help. right now as it is the bears have the better team

toddincali you are gay. do you think if your sentences are in capitals then it solidifies your point? cutler didnt make the playoffs because he unfortunately played for the broncos. horrible defense and multiple injured running backs are why cutler didnt make the playoffs. he still made the PRO BOWL because of his individual efforts. and draft picks always have been and always will be questionable buddy dont get too excited about those untested players. and darthgaras you just sound stupid

They still have picks genius. I'd rather have Jay Freakin Cutler over 2 late first round picks any day of the week. LOL
And Eddie Royal and BMarsh, maybe Cutler is the one who made them good. Let's see how good they are with Kyle Orton attempting to throw it to them. Enjoy 4-12 next year XD

you dont build a team from the first round it with every round im sure there are guys who are from later rounds that have more quality players than just the first round, hines ward,steve smith,tom brady, tim hightower wasnt in the combine and he done very well, jake delhomme, james harrison I can keep going the first round can be very overrated and if you guy isnt sucessful then its just a waste of an important pick teams are built from their rounds pick they what make or break a teams draft
