Barbershop groups never do doowop songs any justice, they take the edge of street corner magic out of the arrangement and "whitewash" songs that may be renderings of 50's R&B arrangements. Sorry.. These two styles should remain seperate. I know people who belong to the Barbershop community in Las Vegas, where I live and they agree, I am sure most would agree.
This is a published arrangement. I applaud your director or whoever found the arragement and helped you learn it. It's a great thing to see talented young ladies working on their craft. Nice voices! Get confident and go for it. I would take this act to some Care Centers and Nursing Homes. Those people love the older tunes and don't get to see young kids enough. As for the dude who co-wrote the book on Doo-wop...wow...ignore it. I wish him an abundance of intellectual of "blow harmony".
Kinda funny how snobby/critical so many people are with no videos of themselves singing... anyways
Nice singing, for some reason I really like barbershop quartet/doo wop. I have a question is the "Best of Doo Wop" specifically the songs you chose or is just coincidence that other "Best of Doo Wop(s)" have the same songs?
Too barbershop, the arrangement is weak. The group has potential, and they need to project more and sing with more "blow harmony" like black rythym and blues do.
This isnt doowop.

@emeralddream1 we were a barbershop group singing a barbershop arrangement of doo wop songs :) sorry for the confusion. as for projecting, we were singing in a lobby (not the best acoustics) thanks for listening :)
You girls have very close & sweet harmony. At first, the dramatics bothered me. But then,as I continued to watch I realized you were adding interest to your performance, and that is professionalism. Good job, girls.
Excellent harmony - well balanced, totally in tune, even with the key changes. Kept the beat - good choreography. Well Done, girls!! Keep up the good work=)
Entertaining and cute, we love it!!! YWIH Rocks! We have an ensemble posted here, and we enjoyed watching your video. I hope our girls watch your clip. Who's gonna win, we are both GREAT!
That "Earth Angel" wasn't the best you've done, but still good. And the key change at the end was one of the best ones I've heard from you ladays. That is all.
Wow, if you're not already involved in a Sweet Adelines' Young Women in Harmony program or chorus, you need to be! You four are GREAT! Sweet Adelines has a Rising Star quartet contest every year too that you should get info about. What city are you in?

The choreography is sophomoric. The singing is not bad.
