  • Rock on Yes!

  • Wakeman makes this band unreal when he's in the lineup.

  • By far the best version of this song that I've heard. Steve's guitar work, Chris and Alan's amazingly solid rhythm, the incredible vocals (not just Jon's melodies, either), and Rick's fingers leave spectral trails on that solo!

  • grupazo!!! luego Steve Howe en la guitarra, Wakeman en los teclados ufffff uno de mis grupos favoritos....

  • MAN Wakeman is amazing at the end there.

  • these guys rule, and so does this song. sweet dreams!

  • ...yes!

  • One fantastic tune.

  • I'm not a big remake fan but when I hear this & 'every little thing' I am convinced they

should do a project on 'modern versions of songs from their 1st two albums 'YES & Time & a Word. If they sounded anything like this they'd have another masterpiece on their hands!! Excellent job Thanks YES!!!!

  • for me the 35th anniversary tours highlight was bringing back sweet dreams, it's such an amazing song i prefer the QPR 75 version but this version definitely has a very different more upbeat feel too it

  • @pinkfloydrule27 I was there in '75....it was awesome.

  • @panzerkw i wish i could have been at one of those shows i didn't make it too a Yesshow till last year, and even that was amazing

  • @pinkfloydrule27 not the same without Jon.

  • @panzerkw not the same but all thats left, and Jon doesn't have that same charisma anymore anyway

  • @pinkfloydrule27 I would have to disagree with you strongly there, check out his solo gig at the Robin 2 on here.

  • @panzerkw well agree to disagree Jon is and always will be an incredibly versatile and great musician and as a vocalist is still top but i don't think he has anything left to give too Yes

  • @pinkfloydrule27 In what way "nothing left to give to Yes"? If you are saying it yourself "he's still top"? What do you mean? Benoit's youth and looks? That would be a case for bands as Coldplay, but we, Yes fans, are way passed that level. And to be honest, the other members aren't exactly a poster for "how to look good while in your sixties" Peace.

  • @vivelavidarocka of course it would be great for him to come back but he doesn't want to be part of yes anymore is basically what i meant the current line up is moving forward and perhaps a new way to have a yes line up that lasts more than 2 years

  • @pinkfloydrule27 I wouldn't say moving forward. They're playing the same old good stuff. Until Benoit enters a studio and shows what he really got, he will still be only a lucky youtuber that happened to have a voice similar to Jon's (THE man). And I'm one of those fans that wishes YES music will last for many years to come to be listen for younger generations like a Symphonic, with the gradually adding of new and younger members, but, only when the time is right.

  • @vivelavidarocka i am not for a second claiming yes now is better than yes then or that benoit is better than jon because it isnt true yes in 1974 with tales from topo and relayer created the most beautiful and amazing music i have heard but i wasn't alive in 1974 so the fact there is a line up today is what i am praising

  • @pinkfloydrule27 I understand where you coming from. But don't forget Chris is a nice guy but also could be a dickhead and loves making money. I read in Prog mag awhile ago about "another" Yes line up with Rabin, Wakeman, Anderson, and Brufford (plus Levin) on the talks. Does anybody knows if this will ever materialize?

  • @vivelavidarocka all prog artists can be dickheads thats kind of what prog is all about!!! and this yes line up i have never heard of it but wow if it is true, but last i heard bruford had completely retired and wakeman and anderson were doing their own tour but hey wierder things have happened

  • @pinkfloydrule27 I just read your comment about seeing Yes about a year ago. Now I totally understand you. Me too, first time I saw them I was like 10 yrs old, and with the "Big Generator" Tour. I remember older hard core fans totally dismissing that line up and their music. Even though the only one missing was Rick.

  • @pinkfloydrule27 Yeah it's true. It was the issue with a Rabin interview (man! Chris used that kid like a towel) Were the editors of the mag. in the editorial, that mentioned. They said talks were to start around the time of the Wakeman - Anderson Project tour.

  • Amazing Jon still sounds great as he did when they first recorded this. Plus besides these guys being master musician's you gotta love Chris Squire's stage presence. The leg move is still a classic lol

  • great guitarwork by steve, amazing solo

  • There's something about this song that I like so much, but I'm not really sure what it is. I first heard it when they played Phoenix in '04 (I'm a late arrival on the Yes scene) and now that I've gone back this song just seems to strike a cord with me.

  • Same here, I never thought about the lyrics before but it seems a positive song, maybe about filling your mind with good thoughts when you are depressed.

  • good version good quality

  • I wonder why this song has appeared in the Yes concert set-list so often for the past 35 years. So many Yes members have played it on stage in the different faces of Yes. I like the attack Howe took this time vs. his 2006 and 1975 shows. This was a great broadcast.
