  • What a reasonable way to explain a complex problem. I am a North Carolina resident who has been trying to make sense of this legislation. Thank you so much Congressman Brady.

  • Thank you Congressmen Brady for fully digesting HR3200 and highlighting all the areas of concern. I wish every American citizen could hear your 20 minute overview.

Thank you for telling the truth.

  • Even a stupid Democrat (apologies for the redundancy of that description) can't dispute the complexity of this boondoggle of a proposal to take control of our lives and our health decisions.

THUG-IN-CHIEF OBAMA cannot depend on his SEIU thugs at a meeting like this because they haven't a legitimate comeback to the facts Rep. Brady is laying out.

The 47 million figure the Dems invented is a ruse to justify HR3200. Nearly 1/2 are ILLEGAL ALIENS! Bravo to Brady & GOP opposition!

  • Thank you for doing the homework!

For the sake of transparency, what is the urgency to vote on some bill that is not read, disected and given to the public to discuss before demanding a vote on it?

Maybe someone needs to have a bill to make it unlawful for any bill to be voted on without at least a 2 week perusal period.

Please, PLEASE vote on such a bill!

Could any legislator deny us that?

  • GOP is trying to confuse the issue

i think Democrats have the right solutions

  • LLRT3:

The bill is pretty large. I bet you don't know everything that is in it.

  • But, if the democrats get their way with health care, where will you Canadians go?

  • what do you mean we will stay in canada

  • Good. We're hoping your public healthcare systems stays there too.

"This case shows that delays in the public health care system are widespread, and that, in some cases, patients die as a result of waiting lists for public health care."

-- Marie Deschamps, Canadian supreme court justice, majority opinion, Chaoulli v. Quebec, 2005

  • wrong

  • "In 2008, the average Canadian waited 17.3 weeks from the time his general practitioner referred him to a specialist until he actually received treatment."

    Sally Pipes

    President, Pacific Research Institute

    Canadian native

  • so?

  • Well, I realize lots of Canadians have gotten used to waiting, down here, that might seem a tad long, even dangerous.

As would a 9.7-week wait for an MRI or 31.7 weeks to see a neurosurgeon.

  • so what?

  • That would be a good slogan for proponents of national health care systems.

  • i see

  • wow you're stupid

  • man i made some stupid comments 5 months ago...back when i supported the dems' health plan.

now i see it for the power grab it is. more or less i am seeing that they are pulling the wool over our eyes. their plans are all about forcing the middle class to subsidize their rich buddies. whether it's healthcare, bankcare, or automotive CEOcare!

    plz forgive me! :)

  • My God. An honest politician who actually does his job. Astounding!

  • EXCELLENT

  • Thank you Representative Brady! You make me want to leave Austin & move to the Piney Woods!!!

  • Thank you Congressman Brady

Here is a call to Have SEIU president Andy Stern arrested on racketeering

  • YES!!

    Thank you!

That is an incredible diagram, jawdropping

thank you for posting your explanation. Patriots still exist
