  • @Brg11erick Full game? No release date yet, depends a LOT on how well preorders etc. do and even then its really hard to predict how long it will take. The engine designer demo is coming out soon though

  • Will this game be open to Modders, This could be like rFactor where its community driven.

  • @seroyer2 In the long term, we want to make a tool to allow cars from Automation to be exported to various games. The tool will have an SDK to allow the community to write export plugins for it.

  • @fluffytashi Nope, but if your mac is powerful enough to run automation, its also powerful enough to dual boot windows, so that's probably the best solution

  • For what it's worth, I actually like the UI. Nice and clean, no crazy colors. Love that you can mess up the engine configurations, wouldn't want to get careless and sell a car to blows up after a few miles :D

  • @tgseason12 It's the overall setting representing various settings in fuel system. The higher the slider value, the more fuel system is tuned for power instead for emissions

    @BlakjeKaas It was considered. However, while it looks cool, it is unpractical. Let's just imagine you want to tweak the torque graph. With each modification, you'd have to wait for the engine to finish running.

  • @Qinetic the UI is pretty much the best we can do with the budget and time we have, we're trying to make it look as good as possible, and have a good artist on board, but are limited with what we can do with some elements (have to use fairly basic looking scrollbars for example)

  • @AutomationGame Eh, the upper bar looks really cheesy. Too large title, font differences per panel, weird brushed metal background. Keep it simple and universal for ease of use.

  • @jdanfosho We disagree on the upper bar and the metal - but yes, the fonts are all strange there, thats getting fixed
