  • 2:56 What you got in that spoon there?

  • 2:56 what the hell kinda video is this!?

  • Cool video mate. I'm sure your FBA works just fine and all, however are you sure you want to risk an explosion and some injury on a pice of 2 cent sponge? a proper FBA ranges from 12 to 50 bucks and they WILL save your life. Even those have failed in the field, though rare it has happend. They use a little bit of baffeling nd expantion with some material. In welding school we had a fellow come in and show us in a clear box the diff between this and real ones, the difference was amazing. Cheers

  • @IcechickenSr as it is noted there somewhere, this vid was posted a year ago, and since then i have not operated this device. it was a big waste of time as i never got any fuel savings out of it and thats the only reason i spent so much time and money making the cell. if i was interested in actually making daily use out of this crappy little flame i may get myself a real flashback arrestor. putting this vid on youtube was a joke, not a brag about how awesome it is...

  • @gmeddy Thats cool mate, It was still a good start you've made and you were making HHO. Thats further along then most people have been with it. I only wanted to comment even if the vid was old as I mentioned I know these DIY FBA's do work, I was just worried about the 1 that does get by you know. It was still a cool video regardless and you did get alot of intrest. All the best for your next better one. Cheers, IC.

  • gmeddy can u tell me about ur hho cell design?how many plates, what electrolyte are u using,,are u giving ur cell the full 13.5 volts of the car battery or are u splitting the voltage among ur plates in the cell by connecting them in series?how many amps is it drawing?thanks

  • @ShinobiLB400 25 plates centre tapped, using a little caustic powder (not baking soda) running 13.5v.

centre plate is + and two outers are -. all in-betweens are N.

  • hello question about the sponge flash back arrestor,,im using the same size tube as urs,but when i put in a dry spong inside tube,,i just test it by exhaling air in the tube from one end and seeing how i comes out from the other done compared to having no sponge..and the sponge really restricts the air flow..should the sponge be tightly squeezed in the tube or just enough so it would be stuck in there,,and im also thinking of damping the sponge with some drops of vinegar,it helps put of the fire

  • @ShinobiLB400 - i didn't do this much, yes it restricted the flow and created back-pressure. it did allow enough gas through to get the flame i had though.

i had my sponged dampened with water. I never tried it with less sponge, mine was jammed in real tight. i used a milk jug as a bubbler/backflash arrestor and it worked great, just split the side of the jug if your gas supply is well under water.

  • @gmeddy - thanks for the info, exactly as u said when i put in a sponge fit tight inside the tube,i exhale in it and it feels like its completely restricted and barely some air passes through the other side, but im thinking since hydrogen is 8 times lighter than oxygen, its a much smaller atom, its easier for it to pass through a sponge than the nitrogen and oxygen we exhale..u said ur generator does about 0.9 liter/min but at how much voltage and amps?coz mine at 12v and 10amps makes about 0.5 L/m

  • 2:58 - herion addicts rejoice:) haha

nice bit of backyard engineering there glenn!!!

  • DUDE you have an awsome car!!

and i ordered one of your special Flashback Arrestor Sponge's ages ago,

    where is it??

    :P

  • sorry mate, you've gotta factor in the 31 day wait period while my sponges get broken in propperly. a scientifficaly proven method of 6 car washes and 56 hours of sunlight.

  • Try a dremell tool stone shoved in a tube.

    They work great!
