Does anyone know if there is any literature on Jill Greenberg. I know she has Bear and Monkey portrait books, but is there anyone else out there about her? I need resources for a presenation.

I think the crying pictures were not meant to make a controversy and be different, she just wanted to make pictures that people will look at. Not all beautiful photography is flowers. It's all about making people look twice at a photo.

@anglocowboy - She is very much a photographer. The art of creating photographic images has ALWAYS involved post-processing. Today it's just done on a computer instead of in a darkroom.

You really should learn what you're talking about before pretending like you know about photos and what is or isn't photography.

That being said... imnsho she isn't a great photographer. Just a Hollywood hype effects monster **yawn**

She is an artist and did what she wanted to do with the photos of McCain. I Think they were great and everyone is being waaaaay too sensitive about it. The political ads that John McCain is running against Obama are much worse than these photos.

I find it interesting starting at 1:28 how her facial features expose her feelings at the moment. It's obvious she hates Bush (and Republicans for that matter). She hesitates when she says George Bush, her head bows down as if knowing that it's a touchy subject and that some folks may not agree with her.

Her brows rise and eyes close when she says he was reelected to four more years expressing disdain with her eyelids then fluttering and rolling eyes to the top left when she says second term.

I don't blame anyone for blocking president Bush's "reform" after the way he "refomed" the education system with "No Child Left Behind", or the way he "reformed" the deficit, bringing it to $9 trillion, or "reformed" American diplomatic relations... etc.

Put simply, social security has enough revenue to last to 2041. Now is not the time to be messing with it, and Bush is not the man.
