To get the video, all you have to do is open your Hard Drive, go to System - Library - CoreServices and find Setup Assistant. Next, right click the file or Control-Click it and select Show Package Contents. Now go to Contents - Resources - and find intro.mov and intro-sound.mp3.
These files are the intro clips that are associated with your version of Mac OS X.
I was able to crossfade two different parts of the same song near the beginning on iMovie to get the length of the sound just right because I knew the ending of the song would fit perfectly, especially with the orchestra hit.
It makes a mac epic.

How? Why?
Answer those to explain your reasoning. I'm not disagreeing, but I like to know what your insights are.

it's not that I don't like this song but it's a little to star wars like for the intro.
blackghost1011 3 years ago
That's cool.
And, thank you for not taking my question personally and just telling me what you're thinking when I asked.

I don't know.

That is absolutely superb. You matched the music perfectly. What software was used?

iMovie, believe it or not.

Wow! 06 or 08? I thought you must have use Final Cut and Soundtrack!
HarryHermioneRonTrio 4 years ago
I believe I used 06; the clip was made before I upgraded my MacBook Pro from Tiger to Leopard.
Watcher3223 4 years ago
Oh. Cool! 06 is more powerful anyway.
HarryHermioneRonTrio 4 years ago
And, unfortunately, what I lost when I did upgrade to Leopard.
