i just went on vacation there about a week ago and its a great place. since its summer, i didnt see any bears but i saw alot of birds, foxes, arctic hares, and like 1000 beluga whales. i would love to go back in the winter

The best time for Polar Bears is in October. :] I'd also like to go back up there sometime. It's really nice, plus I have family there.

i just came back from Churchill for about a week i was there i saw many baluga whales up close they came right up to the zodiac boat.. could have touched one but was scared lol, saw only one polar bear.. i definietly want to go there in winter now :)

just for everyone who wants to now bears rarely attavk people or the dogs around churchill. they only attack people if they bother the bears and bears and dogs are really friendly to each other

the bears would only attack the dogs if they were desperate. I have even see video of a dog and bear playing in the snow, and the bear came back daily to play with the dog for about a month.
