An off-screen death would have in fact been an exact rip-off; The action scene wasn't pointless because it served the plot (Hanzo actually managed to kill a predator) but it was also fair, because he died in the attempt.

The mask augments his vision, and the armor is limited to greaves and vambraces. Technically, Predators have not that good sight, so they need their masks. It gives them, among other things thermal vision. Hope this helps you :)

@medivalme well he did have a chest plate on the upper left side of his torso. If I recall correctly, hunters rarely make use of heavy armor when hunting humans. The only movies/comics where I actually see a predator wearing heavy armor are when on the hunt for xenomorphs. As for the net, it serve two purpose : enable camouflage (it is a electric webbing allowing the passage of electricity) and heat (since pred are from a really really hot planet).

Hanzo would;ve been beaten easily in actuality, Yautja are ridiculously skilled in weapons combat and have been facing humans since early civilizations. They script just called for Hanzo to win because it would've been more dramatic and made for a better scene. However, I would've preferred if the Falconer had simply won.

it's cool how the predator challenges him it's like the predators are like humans we humans look to master game bears,wolves,lions ect and predators look to master there game in the universe humans,aliens, and themselves and they choose us because we're the most challenging

Just like people you cant judge a species by the performance of one. The original Pred killed off central american gurillas and a special ops team on its on three of these guys couldn't kill a mixed of group of mercinarys and criminals.

@chuckycosgrove2 two different Preds for all you know the Pred that killed Billy could have been a much better fighter than this one. Just like people you cant judge a species by the performance of one. The original Pred killed off central american gurillas and a special ops team on its own three of these guys couldn't kill a mixed of group of mercinarys and criminals.

Hanzo would;ve been beaten easily in actuality, Yautja are ridiculously skilled in weapons combat and have been facing humans since early civilizations. They script just called for Hanzo to win because it would've been more dramatic and made for a better scene. However, I would've preferred if the Falconer had simply won.

@mitchellkenneth He did die. He died right after he killed falconer with a hard slash with his blade and Falconer did that same to him with his blades but Hanzo lasted a few seconds after Falconer

KNow they went ape shi in japan. lol! In the sequel Royce and Isabella could just end of finding him and helping him. It could be done.

@WENEEDBACKUPNOW I don't think thats the case, predators are hunters by trade not 1 on 1 fighters, they have a lot of honour and most probably highly skilled fighters, I think the biggest fault is that they view humans as weak they underestimated humans and loose remember it wouldn't be a first time a predator fights samurai the way I gather it they have been visiting earth for many MANY years surely they would have already fought the best
