taste is subjective so i wont comment on what you think of the version but: yup, she transcribed it for guitar (as she does with a freaking lot of stuff, and in my opinion sh's damn great at it) but in this case she plays, lets say, a lead guitar part as well as a violin part (not simultaniously of course^^). To execute a classical work with that precision and that fast... is pretty impressive. I mean, if it's soooo easy. Go do it.

The problem with the whole discussion is it is nearly impossible to standardize what good tone, dynamics and nuance/subtlety are. I had hourlong discussions with my former teachers about that and there was a different opinion for every single one of them. It's simply too subjective to define.
