  • @imNOTtheone -

it sounds to me as though taxes are your issue, not the education... which is good to hear! If this is the case, then it is important to note WHY we are paying high taxes. As someone raised on welfare by my mother, I will be breaking that cycle and contributing to the system... by getting an education. higher educated people typically pay higher taxes through a progressive taxation system.

So we need education to be accessible to break the cycles of poverty.

  • @CamosunStudentUnion I'm so glad you brought up the Trudeau era because thats why i have a staggering tax burden and you are paying so much for your education . I am paying the taxes that go to Trudeau era spending that was never funded by the tax payer . Trudeau spent much like Obama with out the defence budget . Your grandchildren WILL be paying for McGuint'y's SPENDING

I wish you luck but i still can't afford to pay for YOUR education

  • @Hanksnow82 - sorry. I've been busy organizing the rally, so i haven't had a chance to reply.

@ImNOTtheone - first, I am sorry to hear about your loss and what followed certainly wasn't easy, i am sure.

what years were you in school and what do you do now for work?

It's important to note that before 2000, tuition and costs were much more livable. And if in the Trudeau era, they were handing out education. Sounds Ike now you have a really nice place to live and a very well paying job.

  • I see that the sun is well up for these students "early morning " That means i have been up and at work for several hours before their "early morning " started . My yearly personal and property taxes far exceed the 43 K that this girl is paying for her education . I'm sorry but the Canadian tax payer is being crushed with taxes and has nothing left to pay for your education . Looks like you're just going to have to suck it up like the rest of us and work harder .

  • @imN0Ttheone - Did you get a post secondary education?

  • @CamosunStudentUnion Yes i did but it took a little longer for me because halfway through my mother died and i had to drop out for 8 years to raise my little brother and sister . Then i went back and finished my final year .

  • @CamosunStudentUnion Thats a tough one to come back at isn't it ?
