How do you figure? I was asking an honest question as I am not up to speed on the latest & greatest in regards to DJ equipment or tools. Jeremyelrick answered honestly & now its up to me to learn more about the controller, nothing more, nothing less. Don't try to stir something up when there is nothing to stir "mindkiller"...

Ok, sounds really cool but call me naive or whatever but what is really being manipulated here? I see no turntables or CD decks?  What is being mixed? Are they just a bunch of phrases & samples being triggered by that pad panel? Enlighten me as that looks like a cool tool but how can it be used with regular tracks? Thanks

they are all regular tracks being manipulated. I am just using short samples of them as opposed to playing them for five minutes. peace

its a work in progress... this is going to be part of a 2 hour set but finding tracks that go this well together is difficult and takes time. tracklist will follow. the "soundsystem speaking" sample comes from "play it loud" by far too loud.

hey man happy new year nice mix your vids always have superb sound how you do that? what do you use for upload?

The secret is to record your audio directly into the computer rather than using the cameras sound. I used to use an external soundcard and record my audio with audacity and thenn sync it with the video. Now i just record using ableton.

I'm looking at organising a show with two other chinese djs.... one scratch dj and one guy with some fx and a keyboard who also does some cool shit. Im saving to buy a macbook and we are hopefully going to hit the clubs in the coming months and if all goes well ill have some live videos to post;)
