I have been curious about these developers... how are their android' multilingual capacities work?? I went to Germany with my T-Mobile GRX and the lady fave me a 3 line code to put that option on. I looked around and they have a "IT" department and I have spoken German and English since birth and refuse to pay some big school class wonder.... just saying...

@ericgunot You will not be able to use the tool in this video to replace ClockworkMod Recovery. If you find the correct one, and if you find a proper ROM, you should be able to do it just the same way as I did.
when im in the "one click recorvy" program and i hod the buttons and click flash recovery it says on the blue screen that a usb couldnt be found, what do i do?
Can you help me? I tried to upgrade the g2x S/W today. But during the installation it stopped, and now I`m having trouble to finish the installation. When I try to upgrade with the PC the process stops at 50% during when i checks the S/W version and looses connection to the mobile. On the mobile screen it says "Updating S/W Please wait....." This happens all the time. How can I restore the mobile to factory versions, so I can upgrade the S/W? Thanks for any help!!
Thx for the help. I got pretty bored with eagleblood and cm7. Stock was enough for me. I just wanted to see if I could do it. I'm gonna leave it rooted though, hoping for the 2.3 update. Wishful thinking, I know.
@2TooManyHobbies I meant factory rom, the one they you get when you buy your phone in Canada. The problem is that I installed cm7 nightly on my o2x but I can't make calls now, i can do everything else except that.. :S
help! i have tried everything, and no matter what i do with the stock rom file it gives me the md5 mismatch error, ive tried a different sd card, renamed the file, tried installing it as a zip, and tried putting the file in back up folder and restoring it, nothing is working, please help if you can!
@boardbumclrdo an MD5 mismatch usually means the download is wrong or corrupt. Have you tried re-downloading the file, or downloading from a different source?
@intelplay1 well i found my way out of this mess, it only takes 2 easy steps. go to rom manager on ur phone, update the cwm, after that reboot to cwm recovery(using the volume plus power buttons), clear all catches then restore your backup :) hope it works with u
okay i havent installed at custom rom at all whatsoever i just have clockwork mod but i got it through the app is this voiding my warrenty??? and can i still get the over the air update
@2TooManyHobbies hmm okay i understand that but i cant get into clockwork mod recovery i apparntley have it installed on my phone from the app any ideas???
okay so heres the situation -.- this is getting annoying i have 3.0.2.7 installed i want to get back to stock i wanna have the offical tmobile update of gingerbread how do i do it?
hello i hope you answer my question. Im new to android rooting... I wonder can root my phone and loading rom stuff with the internal memory instead of a mirosd card?
Long answer: I don't know of a method to do this, but I imagine it could be possible by somehow partitioning the memory and making one look like an external source. I wouldn't recommend this, and it seems that it would be fairly difficult to accomplish.
@vldude93 Yes, you can restore a backup or install another ROM using that app (ROM Manager, right?), and unroot the same way I do.
You can also return your phone to stock simply by turning it on with Pwr+VolDown since the stock recovery is still on the phone. It will wipe all of your data and put it back to the way it was when you took it out of the box, which will also unroot it.
@EmceeGeek When you first get the phone, what you described is correct. If you flash ClockworkMod Recovery (not using the ROM Manager method) then the VolDown+Pwr is replaced with the ClockworkMod Recover interface. Then you can do VolDown+Pwr to boot into the menu.
@EmceeGeek Nope, you have to install the One-Click-G2x-recovery-flash for Windows and flash ClockworkMod Recovery while the phone is connected via USB. I demonstrate how to do this in my 'How To Install CyanogenMod 7 on T-Mobile G2x / LG Optimus 2x after Nandroid Backup' and the link to the program is in the description.
@LawsonIntel Rooting the G2x will give you ultimate control of the phone. You can flash custom ROMs to be able to manipulate almost any setting you would like, to have different/better user interfaces, use even more apps, and even to use different versions of android. You can also flash custom ROMs to overclock (faster games and overall processing power) or underclock (mainly for long battery life). There are countless enhancements made to the firmware and software (better camera, others...).
@LawsonIntel The only reason you would ever want to go back to stock is because rooting and everything else voids your warranty. So, if you had to send it back and didn't want T-Mobile to know you rooted, you would have to unroot, etc.
well first i did everything in this video up to restoring it from the back up i made that you advised me to do in your last vid, then i rebooted, thats when my screen was stuck on the LG boot screen. so i took the battery out again. and tried to boot it a second time around btu same thing. then i went into the cwm and tried again, your steps again but to no avail. so i tried using nvflash but that didnt work either i got failed error at the end. so i went back to cwm and reinstalled the
nevermind i went back into cwm and reinstalled cyanogenmod7 nightly and it loaded again... the thing is if i want it back to orginal settings how can i get it back. because the nvflash didnt work either and i followed your steps completely.
@cockoftheblock Can I get more information? Did one of the steps in this procedure cause this? You can turn if off by taking out the battery and putting it back in.
@xenover No. I still have the stock screen protector on it and I have had no problems. I have noticed that in general if screen protectors get to greasy/fingerprinty, they become less sensitive, but I am always wiping mine off anyway.
