Sorry it has taken me so long to respond to you, but no if you feel that you are leading with the handle the most likely thing to happen is that you will not be used to the timing and not release the clubhead and hold it off hitting a big fade. Once you get the timing down then you will 100 percent gain some distance and yardage.
hmmmmmm...so i should yank the handle to the ball from the top? won't that make the clubhead deploy early? are you sure this isn't an optical illusion?
