Just bought both soundsets (to be loaded on a Virus TI 4.5.3) Spectacular - even without soft knobs assignment etc. Could only imagine what they would sound like if you reprogram them with OS 4.5/5 in mind!
It would be very helpful if in the video's time-line you insert the patches' name - as they play along! Great job! Thanks !!
Hey Dominik, is it just me or is your trackitdown file not available to purchase? I've been trying to buy your soundset for the past 2 day but no luck :(
@jdmmade they had a fatal server crash right before xmas and they still haven't fixed all files yet :( will let oyu know once the soundset is back up!
imho your first full bank (the one from 2009) was better :) it always causes some troubles loading it up into a VTI but in half a hour one can load it in ram and correct the bugs as I did with mine. A shame you don't have a TI, regardless the preferences in sound (for which, again imho, any difference is negligible side by side while using comparable output levels), it does so much more than the other models it's insane people think a C can do the same stuff.
@subbadome Out of interest, is the actual output for this YouTube video from a 'C' or a 'TI'? Do you think the C sounds better than the TI? Cheers, Martin
@subbadome Thanks mate, I agree but I wasn't sure if my mind was making it up or not! Going to buy one soon and will buy your patches. Keep up the good work and all that jazz...
@xHardstyle123 hi - if you shop around very carefully you can get a s/h Virus C and a Virus Snow for the price or less that a Virus TI rack. So there would be no compromises :) I think the Virus C can get grittier and dirtier. The TI is cleaner but obviously has many more options - supersaw, more waveforms, Mac or PC on screen editing, more distortion options and fx. I don't think you can go wrong either way, both brilliant synths
does this file for all the presets work on a mac??

NzNexus2 1 year ago
@NzNexus2 yes. note that the powercore doesnt have a 3rd osc and no equalizer, so some presets will sound slightly different.
