It worked for me, but what it doesnt tell you is that when you go to add it back to the iphone, itunes wont add the songs. so this program is only good fod adding songs to itunes, not taking them from itunes and putting back onto the iphone, which blows.

Easier way to select all songs: Hold ctrl then press a on any song, it will highlight the entire libary

Ok I tried this and so far I do like it since it can transfer music and all, however I only want to transfer only say 30 songs. I select them all using the ctrl key and then go to back up ipod. But the program sharpod backs up all the songs. How do you make sure it only backs up the ones you selected?

didn't work for me. I had a newly downloaded, empty Itunes on my new computer. Used this guide to transfer my songs. My songs were copied and eventually showed up into my itunes library, but a notice popped up saying that the new library wasn't authorized and that it would make a new folder called "damaged" or something. So now, everytime I open my itunes, the songs play, but if I plug in my ipod it says 'THE IPOD "X" IS SYNCED WITH ANOTHER ITUNES LIBRARY" then it gives me the option
