  • INDONESIA! KEREN ROBOTKU! Pas dinyalain keluar bismillah... keren...

  • INDONESIA! KEREN ROBOTKU!

  • hi your video is in 2008 now is 2011 but I like your video is very fast line following robot! how much sensor you use? 7 sensor? or 8 sensor? your motors how many volts use ? 12v or more, and now 2011 you could up the velocity than 2008? plz I hope your coments, thanks!

  • @N1ckfm : I use 8 sensor, 7 on the front and 1 on the middle. I use 12 volt to supply the motor. about the velocity... not different, just more acceleration power and more accuration.

  • @kartikonugroho I understand 7 sensor on front but why one sensor on middle? and PID is for motors have the same velocity and one motor is a setpoint?, or PID your setpoint is the velocity that you want, thanks for your answer

  • @N1ckfm ahh PID is the line! i visited your page, I understad the message! bs09ags & kartikonugroho

  • Hello... I'm tryin to make a similar fast line follower robot..

  • How do make one like this? I would like to try making one, can you send me a complete details about your project or something like this? I'm getting interested into robotics lately and would appreciate your help. raging_knives@yahoo.com

    thanks and awesome work!

  • Hi !!!, your line follower is well done. Could you give more detail about your robot, PID?

  • @tummeta : yup it's PID inside...

  • @kartikonugroho what kind of motors did you choose and whats their RPMs?

  • @PegasuspecTr : I use DVD motor... (Mabuchi RF-300FA-12350) its about 3000RPM at 3Volts

  • Bismillah D: that craced me up

  • Woooow Excelent brooo.

  • Awesome robot :) But the song is awesome too. What's the name of the band / singer?

  • @metalmaster384 : Thank you, the band name is "cokelat" (Indonesian language of chocolate)

  • @kartikonugroho or you can just buy mindstorm :P

  • Can you send me the program?

    Thanks

  • Works with an armonica on the top!!

    just kIddin, nice mecha

  • Have you tryed 90 degree are higher turns?

  • If you put it in a different path, does it need to mess with the settings again?

  • they sell stuff like this at the mall but not as fast or as big

  • Very well done. How much does the bot weight? What chip did you use? Very very impressive how it goes so fast. Is the speed mostly due to improved hardware, or software 'tricks' as well?

  • @sirpau1 :

    its among 700 grams

    I use ATmega16

both hadrware and software, hard ware : the center of mass positioning, gearbox, and tire; software : PID control

  • ive seen lots of line followers, faster and slower, but never an inverted pendulum line follower (one ball instead of two wheels) i'll upload it as i fix usb port to transfer from video cam

  • So these are the guys that are on Omegle around 5:00 in the morning trolling it up?

  • Nice song!!! :)

  • hi, i like the startin with "bismillah" :)

    nice job, congrat..

  • wow that is a amazing. How does your line follower work ?

  • @1slipping1 it follows a line.

  • asik iki mas, arek ugm ncen top markotop.

enteni aku nek galelobot yo kang

  • wtf does that music means?? if it has a meaning!

  • @bazengao : yes it's has great mean... the liric's is in Indonesian langage...

Please learn Indonesian language to understand it (hehehehe) v^^.

  • Perfect. Congratulations! Dont stop! New projects!

  • can u send me code or algorithm

  • so fast.....

    belajar bikinnya dong.....

  • which sensors r these for line tracking photo or IR??

  • this robot using LDR... and UV LED

  • bad robot arquitecture... wheels are to far from the light sensors..

  • hmmm, as my experiment, higher speed... need more distance from light sensors and wheels...

coz there are momentum of the robot body... so we need to sens the line as far as we can...

  • are you expecting sideslips? if don't, momentum is not an argument...

  • yup, but motor response give more effect than slips.

  • sorry, but by your comments i think you have no "experiment"...

  • mmm, might be you're right...

coz I only try my own PID algorithm on different architecture... and the best performance is the longest body (the distance between sensor and wheels is longest)

    would you share your experiment?

how can you drive your robot with short distance between sensor and wheels?

  • how can i drive it?... is software that drives, a short loop program that check sensors status around 1000 per second and reacts driving the bot, if the distance is shorter you can have more precision on the moves. Did you saw what happens at 0:48, even with that "wrong setting" a smaller bot would do that because the rotational movement of the robot (when the wheel turn a diferent speeds) would not be so amplified.

The secret is faster PIC, faster loop software, smaller bot, faster engines.

  • wow... from your comment... you seems experienced.

    can you share your video?

  • Well, i'm making my bot allong with some college friends for a contest next year and I can't show it before the contest. Maybe after.

  • what a contest?

I'd like to participate in international contest too...

    can I?

  • i'm trying to be in singapore 2010... but first you need to pass thru the nationals... i don't but i think you can, check you country nationals..

  • what is the contest name?

  • soccer

  • @molinobeer : well, it's 2011 now, and we haven't see your video right now. Show to us, or your comments before is just a bunch of crap theories.

  • @studikasus

Unfortunately that robot didn't get through the soccer robot nationals, but we passed with a junior soccer, dance and several rescue robots, and we were world champions with the dance team and get other prizes. The videos of all our robots are private and you have no right to watch them.

Also, the facts ("crap theories" in your words) were an attempt to help the owner of the video, and as it shows on his comments he wasn't offended by them (unlike your rude inconvenient ass).

  • @molinobeer LOL.. are offended by my words?? How about if you seen it as an attempt to encourage you for giving me a proof of your theories.. Cause commenting something with no given proof could made wrong assumption. Well I still got no proof , so don't get offended, since this is a public share area, and you shared something and don't want to clarify it. Won't be helped enough for others right? But fair enough cause it's your right to share or not share anything in this public share area. :P

  • cool

  • hello.... can I have your mail ???? I really want to talk with you about your robots.... I wanna implement a pid controll method on mi line follower, maybe you could help me with the way to use de pid control..... and I have lots of other questions

  • this is cool id want one... as a toy lol =)

  • maknyus robotnya kk... Belajar dong... hehehe

  • hello.... can I have your mail ???? I really want to talk with you about your robots.... I wanna implement a pid controll method on mi line follower, maybe you could help me with the way to use de pid control..... and I have lots of other questions..... best and regards.....

  • nice dude, what do you use the LCD for?

  • to show the program state, setting (speed, gain kontatnt)&sensors condition

  • does it still work if there's a less than 45 degree turn?

  • yup, it work at angle not less than 40 degree

  • hey,im sure ur bot will get fucked up if the turns are greater than 90 degree

  • hey look! it's not.

  • It's still runs on extreme angle(on my next video)

  • sorry I cant share my code (that is my team rule), but I can tell you that it use PID control method, and you can ask me about my method, but not the code.

  • dude can u tell about ur fast line follower method??can u show me ur prog pllleeezzzzz

  • what's new?

  • guys, I have a method about fast line follower, just let me know if you need discuss :) Bravo Indonesia

  • yes please!i would love 2 hear from u.i m myself a computer engg. student n have attempted 2 make a line follower.

  • can i have more info on what algorith u're using ... :) how many sensors do u have ? are they IR ? If u spot that u hae to turn do u shut 1 motor down or u just PWM it to a lower % ?

  • I use 8 sensors,

@ this video, UV LED, but the other is IR LED.

not both of them, I reverse it.
