lidibo828 is right. The hardest Castlevania is the first, released for PC, wich can be played on the PS1, on the game Castlevania Chronicles (choose original). The poor mobility of trevor make not only the final boss, but any boss and the last stages insanely hard to pass. This boss is nothing compared to it. Anyone that finishes that game must be respected. Hardest Castlevania ever.

the 3rd form was pretty hard, because of the dog and shockwave attacks. I remember HATING dracula out of the many, many times i got my ass owned, up to the point that one time i yelled "DAMN YOU, DRACULA!".

So anyway, the point is that they should've used the japanase voice on richter and the US voice on dracula, considering the richter's english voice makes him sound like a pussy and drac's jap acting is laughable.

dracula's third form really pissed me off even I used maria with dragons it still get less damage and 3 or 4 hits your dead I don't know why?

Don't like it. In CV 1 Dracula was kinda dificult, in CV3 it was next to imposible, but lamely becaue it had infinite life and dealt over 9000 damage, and asides from thouse games i haven't seen any official CV with a decent, dificult and/or badass looking dracula as it's last boss. Then agian, i haven't played all Castlevanias, but i'd really wish there were more like in serio's CV figther...

and going to underground garden in sotn psp version is not included :( if u have jailbroken your psp then put the ps1 sotn there and try it but only u go is just an underground well instead which is found in entrance! but underground garden is really for saturn consoles! sorry! :(

@andespuri well, in 1967 the book was edited and some parts were deleted cause of catholic church, the book i have is a real relick ( i am mexican and my english skills are not so good yet, i may miss some words) a 1934 deluxe edition, the most beloved posetion in my family, i guess those books are very hard to obtain nowadays.

i just beat dracula today with maria. i couldnt do it with richter but maria made it easy for me. and when i beat him i had no health but i didnt die either. that made me say "wow, that was freakin hard". it took 20 tries with richter and 5 times with maria. tricky right?

I did the same thing in the prefight against Dracula on SOTN, a bit easier i'm sure. I beat him with full health without Maria's little revival thing going on. But then I saw Dracula go into his third form and I was like: "Maybe just a bit trickier than I thought."

I love this game but I have to gripe about Dracula's character design. He looks like a Harajuku Rockabilly. I wish the character design for him was a little more consistent (SOTN design was the best and most accurate in relation to the appearance of the historical Vlad Tepes).

It seems this third form is probably the hardest, as the other two have much more predictable patterns.

I think Adventure Rebirth has the best third form of Dracula out any of the games, though. It's like a Mega Man boss, and a cute homage to Lords of Shadow with it being a mask.

SOTN is still best game, however since DXC is also an awsome game and it contains both classic rondo of blood and new version of SOTN, that makes it the best of all castlevania games.

its a manly game for manly men, and just by playing it, it will make hair grow on your chest.

If you can't handle the difficulty however your head might explode.(its really frustrating at some parts)

This game is AWESOME! And btw dude you did very well! This fight with Dracula for me playing as Richter is almost impossible for me to beat. I have defeated Dracula one time with Richter. But that's the only time I was able to do it. All the other times that I've beaten Dracula I used Maria. As always good job. 5/5
