I'm October 3rd and I understand what you are saying....have you ever looked into your "rising sign" (or Ascendant) or moon sign? Those are the other two that have the most influence on you other than your Sun sign (which is Libra). You might have Virgo or Scorpio in those....Sun sign is more how others see you, Rising sign is more first impressions, and moon sign is more your inner self, your inner emotions that you don't show the world (the Sun).
I'm born 15th of October, and I feel I fit the Libra description perfectly, so I've never had any problems with that.
(Except for NEVER being able to make up my mind, like lots of other Libras. :P)
But I once had a friend who was born 21st of October - and she was very different from me, and I never managed to see how she'd fit the Libra description, so maybe this is it?

I have great difficulty with the math involved in actually erecting the natal chart and plotting transits and progressions and such (thank the Goddess for computers lol)...I dont mean to go on about it lol but I just really get this sense that you have a very gifted way of looking at the symbolism involved. This makes TOTAL sense to me: my moon sign is Libra, I have a lot of Virgo in my chart, and I was born on the Gemini/Cancer cusp, It also makes complete sense re my mother, who is a Libra but was born on October 22, which is the Libra/Scorpio cusp. Thank you for this information. I am a Libra, born October, 19th. Scorpio begins around October 22. I have never looked at it that way that we hold the balance of Virgo and Scorpio also. I will look up information on those two signs and see if I share any characteristics.
