Hey dumbass, maybe you should take a look at deathtraps like Ford. They killed more people in the Explorer rollover incidents than the Toyota pedal incidents. Chrysler (aka FIAT) now sends money back to the home country of ITALY (that is, if they even make a profit). GM and Chrysler needed bailouts that cost taxpayers BILLIONS of dollars, some of which will not be paid back. You're a complete idiot. I'd take a Lexus over a POS Chrysler anyday.
@MacPowerBook HEY DUMBERASS MAYBE YOU SHOULD STOP TRYING TO JUSTIFY YOUR OWNERSHIP OF AN ASIAN CAR. PEOPLE LIKE YOU ARE TO BLAME FOR THE YOUTH OF AMERICA HAVING A WORSE LIFESTYLE THAN THEIR PARENTS . ALSO THE PROFIT FOR CHRYSLER AND GM COME BACK TO THE STOCK HOLDERS MOST OF WHO ARE AMERICANS ALSO THE BAILOUTS WERE PAID BACK EARLY! THE ISSUES WERE HIDDEN BY TOYOTA AND BURIED TO MAINTAIN AN IMAGE. SO CONTINUE TO DEFEND YOU FOREIGN AUTO AND TRUE AMERICAN SALUTE YOU FOR THE LOSER YOU ARE!
I think your caps lock is broken. Dumberass? That's your best insult? WOW, you're so fucking stupid. A 6 year old can come up with better insults. You must believe that GM and Chrysler fully paid back their loans. HAHAHAHA, what a joke, they DIDN'T.The Detroit News stated that the Treasury Department expects to lose more than $23.6 BILLION dollars on the bailout!! Your head is stuck up your ass. I'll support GM and Chrysler when they stop being trash, I'll purchase anything I want.
You can't even come up with anything better than calling people losers. I present facts, you just sit in your basement and wallow in your own filth. Sorry, you don't have your license yet. Maybe you should ask your mommy for a ride while I pass you by in a car worth more than your entire life.
@MacPowerBook dude I could buy 50 if I wanted to but you see I am not as ignorant as you and I'm not the one who drives a car with a "L" in the grill. you see I car about americans unlike you there for you are truly a loser with a capital L
And I'll even say that Ford currently makes great cars now, and I'll buy them because 1: Their quality has improved a lot, and 2: They actually deserve it since they didn't need a billion dollar gift like GM and Chrysler. I already unwillingly defended GM and Chrysler through my taxes, only to have their lazy workers smoke pot while building cars. Hows that for ya? I'll buy whatever I want, and what's best for my money. GM and Chrysler clearly aren't on my list. Go drive your FIAT.
@hokiericky LOL. Why BMW invest in SGL Carbon "last week"? Cuz it's been using carbon fiber for years. Is something being using for years still "new"?
Japanese Lexus cars are contaminated with high levels of nuclear radiation from Japan's nuclear disaster. This includes Plutonium-238, 239 and 240 which are highly radioactive and will increase your risk of cancer, infertility and sperm damage.
I love how people here bitch about the pricing but do not have the wallet to justify their complaints. It's obvious that the pricing is catered for millionaires and not the Average Joe,so get your head out of your ass and just enjoy this engineering beauty for what it is!
@oneviwatara Chassis 65% CFRP and 35% force titanium alloy. Force titanium exhaust muffler. Force titanium Brake Calibers on both side and force titanium suspensions on all 4 wheels. Carbon fiber interiors on the dash, doors and doors handle and console and floors and force titanium paddle.
Would you spend $400k on something with no soul? Maybe? I'd spend $200 now on a classic with a soul and do a complete rebuild. Then wait five years and get the LFA for half off.
@10016 Then wait five years and get the LFA for half off <------- Please get ur head out of your own ass and think before u speak If u think the LFA will be 200k in five years. There will be around 500 EVER made and around 175 import to the U.S. The rarity of the car alone should make the car go up. BTW if u have to ask if u want to spend 400k then u cant afford it the first place.
Anyone else notice that the loom has written along its top edge "bureidaa" in katakana, i.e. "braider"? It seems a bit ironic for an American man to be plugging this thing to us.
lol and carbon fiber isnt even the lightest or strongest material available to construct with. Not to mention the extreme cost of materials and production as evidenced by this video. Carbon fiber is def. not the future of materials, it is a current fad...
The LFA was never intended to be a cheap thriller purely for speed. It was designed and built to break proving grounds by converting imagination into reality that no one else has ever done before. I'd much rather consider this car an "experiment" to prove that Lexus engineering ARE capable of building something truly unique and amazing. I give Lexus a lot of credit for having the dedication to diverge off of the streamlined idea of super cars and finding their own path towards perfection
@vex123 I agree, it's Toyota's Veyron in a sense - they wanted to really show off what they could do. They didnt go as extreme as the Bugatti in the complete and luxury sense but Toyota used their own ideals and capitalized on them
@vex123 this is pure BS, there is NOTHING unique about the LFA, everything about it has been used before, front-mid engine, carbon fiber, high revving engines. for the insanely high cost it should decimate everything built thus far, however it gets beat by euros that cost a fraction of the price. all that imagination into reality and other fiction bullshit youre spewing belongs in an infomercial to sell this car to people ignorant enough to think its fast
@Luvchiild. Who the fukc wouldn't wanna pikc up a girl in an LFA. U would be a straight pussy magnet. But for +$300000. No thanks. That's for the rich and famous. Corvette zr1 all the way baby. And it's affordable.... :)
ZR1 and Viper's are garbage american shit. Please don't ever hold them in the likes of EXOTIC LUXURY cars. 911 turbo is cool. The GT3 is far and above better. The fact you listed 911 turbo shows how ignorant you are. The R8 is for people who can't afford a ferrari or LFA
@utahgs the 911 turbo makes me ignorant? how is that it still has a faster time than the LFA for a HUGE deal less money, the same goes for the R8 GT (also faster and a ton less) with the V10 R8 being close but at such a low price its still a FAR better choice than the LFA
@mikethebeast1012 You still have to think about the quality of materials. And I find it so funny you didn't respond to my comment, troll. You haven't driven either car. You don't know which one drives better. Every single person who has driven the car says the LFA is worth every cent. These people also include the Stig, Tiff Needell, and many others. Stop being a biased troll and you can complain about the car when you've actually driven it. :P
@cobanermani456 quality of materials? you cant be talking about Porsche and Audi (known for having the most high quality interiors on the market) as their quality is certainly higher then any econo-luxury brand as lexus. worth every cent doesnt mean a whole lot when its coming from the rich and famous, who has $400k to piss away on a garage queen and thats what the car will be because if you want to win youll need one of the mentioned cars that are faster and cheaper
@mikethebeast1012 Biased dummy. Porsche hasn't always had the highest quality interiors. Audi has been said to have one of the highest in quality and style. I've seen porsches with gaps and they aren't reliable at all. Lexus has always been said to have impeccable interior quality. You just keep pulling from your butt econo lux brand Lexus. Just because Acura and other econo luxury brands want to be like Lexus while BMW and Audi don't doesn't mean it's econo. (to be cont.)
@CoonBabble Yeah...You need to learn math...LFA costs $375,000. how can you save $420,000? Plus GTR is slower in the corners and at high speeds. GTR can't even do 200 mph.
@CoonBabble Yeah...You need to learn math...LFA costs $375,000. how can you save $420,000? Plus GTR is slower in the corners and at high speeds. GTR can't even do 200 mph.
@BlackDynamiteNYC I have not driven an LFA but while working at Lexus I was able to drive the ISF. The ISF is in no way near the same class of car, that being said the ISF was one of the most amazing cars I have had the pleasure of driving. Oh and before someone says it, yes I have driven a BMW M3 and M5, and a matter of fact working at the dealership I was able to test drive pretty much everything from Mercedes Benz to Bentley. So if the ISF is as great as it is imagine what the LFA is like.
Everyone who says Lexus loses money from these is retarded. The Lexus stock prices rise like hell, plus this can be used as an advertising platform. The cost of making a car might exceed the cost of the actual sale price, but that doesn't mean Lexus doesn't get a pretty penny from all this.
@WhatTheFproductions Actually, you're the retard. Lexus is losing a lot of money on each one they sell. They even announced how much the LFA nurburgring package model was worth when the guy who was driving in it crashed and died. It was worth 1.8 million dollars.
@cobanermani456 Dude, if you show up in a meeting room and tell the Lexus board of directors "Hey, I want to make a fast car but we'll lose money and not gain anything from it", they're gonna throw you out of a window. Think about it, there's no way a group of people would approve this project if they didn't gain something in return. Stocks, technology for future road cars, advertising material, the LFA helps them in each of these areas. In the end they're still in green.
@WhatTheFproductions Toyota is losing money on each one. I don't see what's so hard to understand. That price is too low for what the LFA is. Nobody else in the world even has a circular carbon fiber loom. They don't really care about losing money on it. They wanted to make a halo car and omg what a halo car it is. They wanted to show people they can be a sporty company and build a supercar but they knew they couldn't charge $1 million for it becuz of dummies like you. Don't be a flippin retard
@cobanermani456 So the fact that Toyota stock went up $16 in the last 3 months didn't make them money? Honestly dude stop living in a fairy world, nothing gets done in a capitalist environment unless it puts money in someone's pocket.
@WhatTheFproductions The LFA was sold out shortly after the preorders last year meaning that the stocks have nothing to do with the LFA's sales. And even if the LFA doesn't make them money Toyota is still getting lots of money from their other cars like Camry and etc. The LFA isn't helping Lexus make money. You're living in a biased world where you just hate the LFA because it can't go to 60 mph as fast as other cars. The LFA isn't giving Toyota a single profit.
@cobanermani456 I love the LFA, I love Lexus (My family has a 2002 IS300 and a 2005 IS300). But you're completely wrong, 500 of the LFA's were said for, not sold. They still have about 60 to move. Anyway how can you not understand that stocks are affected by everything. If apple comes out with a new iPhone their stocks skyrocket. It's the same in this case, except its a car. Oh an by the way, Lexus isn't even selling the LFA's yet, they're only offering 2 year leases at the moment.
@WhatTheFproductions You're right they are leases I forgot. My bad. Lexus can't be making money on what it takes to make an LFA. They spent so much researching and making it. Yeah, I know that everything affects a stock but the lfa isn't making them better. It's just like the Veyron. It's a halo car and they don't give a crap about how much it costs to make. And yeah they are still making them but they've already been spoken for. Only around 170 came to the US...500 were made though.
even though i have so much money, i wouldnt buy this because it takes 10 years of research to make a v10. Lambo would be much better because each year a new v12 is developed...
Yet again another flawless marketing aim at the public along with innovative technology and engineering!! - The loom weaving machine created by lexus engineers must have took several functions, calculations, and accuracy in programing and mechanical engineering to get that thing to function to perfection.
How did they do it?? They should make a video on how they engineered that loom weaving machine.......or would that give away too much?
oh " cost effective" carbon fiber hmm they should of also made the pistons from titanium, engine block from platinum, and the rims from gold, dickheads...im with XxJhate
Look's and sound's really cool, but I'd like to see it race a diesel pickup with only 40 grand stuck in it. Hmm i wonder which would win a 70,000 dollar race truck or a however many 100 grand lexus?? Come on car company's start making diesel sport cars. Audi caught on! Diesel engines are superior to gas engine's in almost every way.
i dont think we all understand that this only applies to their one model the LFA, which retails about 400 grand. so pretty much you only get the nice ass weaver for more than the price of a lamborgini. thanks again lexus!
@Howie262 You suck and you fail. Did you know that it's a bargain? Each LFA is worth approx. a million dollars. The LFA may not be the fastest car in a straight line but it can outdo cars at higher speeds and in the corners. Plus it's amazing technologically and is awesome in many ways. That's like complaining about Veyron. It can accelerate superfast but in the corners a pagani zonda can outdo it. Oh, and did I mention the Veyron is worth $5 million bucks.
@cobanermani456 naw veyrons are about 1-2 million dollars....... i dont know what your'e talking about them being 5...i dont like them.
I just think it shows how inferior the japanese really are lol...... this was Toyota's best atempt at a hyper car.... the project is almost 2 decades old.......
and the car is no more faster than a nissan GTR but also more expensive than even the top ferraris....
i mean, you can have any car of your dreams... or you could have a slow lexus... your choice.
@Howie262 No, it actually costs $5 million to MAKE them. They knew they were going to lose money on each one they sold but they wanted to see if it was possible to make a supercar that fast. It costs Lexus around $1 million to make an LFA. Yeah, and they made a car with one of the best sounding engines ever, has a v10 the size of a v8, and the weight of a V6. Your comment is full of lies. The LFA is faster at higher speeds and in the corners than a GTR where it actually matters. (to be cont.)
@Howie262 (cont.) Also it is NOT more expensive than the top ferrari. The top ferrari is the 599GTB HGTE and that costs around $400K. The LFA costs $375K. Research about cars dude. Even if it took Toyota 1 decade, not two, to make the car you have to realize that they taught themselves. They didn't hire some Ferrari guy to come over. It took Ferrari 64 years to get to where they are today with their supercars. Lexus made a supercar that can beat the best ferrari in one decade. Thats incredible
@cobanermani456 the thing you are forgetting is that with 10yrs of development, millions in research and spending and it still gets beat by nearly every European car costing 1/3 the price. just tally up another lexus fail
@mikethebeast1012 That depends on what you call "beat". I bet your thinking about acceleration times. Acceleration isn't everything. It should be about the whole package. The Lexus mixes luxury, speed, handling, and a gratification. Heck, even Car and Driver said that Ferrari needs to follow Lexus's LFA because their cars seem like Lexus' compared to the visceral feel of the LFA. If you are concerned about price you probably don't even have enough money to buy even a 3 series.
@cobanermani456 actually i was referring to real performance laptimes, although now that you say that its 0-60 time isnt very impressive either. the LFA is a joke it gets beat by cars from europe that cost less than 1/3 the price. maybe nothig in Ferraris stable can handle the LFA and cost so little but both Porsche and Audi have faster cars that cost WAY less. if you buy the LFA you dont give 2 shit about performance its just a "i have more money to waste than you" car and nothing more
@mikethebeast1012 Well, you fail buddy. The LFA did a lap on the Nurburgring in 7:23. That's 3 seconds faster than the Corvette ZR1. Why is that fast? Because it encourages speed in the corners and drives like a track car. The ZR1 is fast but it's scary and redneck. The LFA can beat the Porsche and Audi too. Did you ever see the episode of Battle of the Supercars how the LFA whooped the R8 V10? Get your facts straight. The LFA can whoop many supercars in the corners and high speeds
@cobanermani456 really 7:23 again i say you fail the posted time is 7:38 although some have speculated that a 7:23 could be psooible it hasnt happened yet, even if it achieves that 7:23 time there will still be cuntless cars with times that are faster or VERY close but at a fraction of the price. the LFA in no way "whooped" the R8 it wasnt time attack so its not a very accurate guage of performance. but heres some more facts for you LFA $400k 7:38, R8 GT $250k 7:34, R8 V10 $150k 7:44
@mikethebeast1012 Well, you don't know how to read cause a Japanese mag reported that the LFA did 7:23. And the LFA still beats the R8 even if it did 7:38. I love how retards forget about how they should DRIVE the car before saying it's crap. I'm not saying other supercars are crap but from what I've heard, the LFA is better than most cars with fun to driving pleasure, handling, etc. Some people say it's more fun to drive than Ferraris and that it ties the 458 italia. That's pretty high praise.
@cobanermani456 yes i read that same thing the magazine is called Holiday Auto, but until a reputable non-japanese (since they are notorious for making up laptimes) magazine releases a time i will go with SportAuto's time of 7:38. meaning it beats the R8 V10 but with such a lower price the R8 is still the real winner or the R8 GT which beats it and is still a bargain. with 10yrs and a $400k pricetag it should be the fastest car to ever run a track, but its not even close
@mikethebeast1012 Lol, yeah whatever. You're biased of the Japanese. What an *sshole. And actually you are absolutely wrong about the 7:38. It's 7:30. Get your facts straight. Yeah, it took ten years for Toyota to teach themselves to make a supercar. What's wrong with that? It took ferrari over 50 years to get where they are. Toyota only 10. :P
And I'm not a japanese fanboy. I like Ferrari too and would stick by them over a lot of companies. I actually like the 458 italia and the LFA equally
@cobanermani4567:38 is a published time 7:30??? thats not an official published time anywhere just more wrong information from you, Ferrari hardly took 5oyrs, they were making supercars from day 1 and have been throughout history being 1 of the few cars that is considered the standard for all supercars. look at lambo every few yrs the engine is almost entirely redesigned to make more power it doesnt take them 10yrs. please go get some correct information and come back
@Howie262 I think you mean 458, retard. Plus, give me an example of how Toyota copied another company with their LFA? Give me at least three examples of how they have with the LFA. Plus if somebody has a Gallardo or 458 they probably have a few more supercars in the garage and wouldn't care about the LFA's price. And I like the other companies too but people need to give Lexus respect and stop being so biased like the loser you are. I don't even see how the LFA copies other supercars. Its unique
@cobanermani456 458 is what i meant to say, you're obviously the retard fan-boy. anyways. i dont even like itallian cars that much so who cares if i typed wrong up one number. the rev counter on lexus lfa screen is electronic, we know that because " its the only device that can keep up with the pace of the extrememly fast reving" well, the Mclaren f1 did that 20 years ago....... so theres one thing... and you saying its Unique when really it doesnt have any set trait that sets it apart.......
@Howie262 I'm actually not a fanboy. I like ferrari and corvettes but the LFA deserves some respect. That's it? That's like saying that because Bugatti made a V16 car they are copying Cadillac. Or like saying Ferrari is copying the LFA because it has a 9000 rpm just like it. You are really retarded. Yes, it's unique. It looks like nothing else on the road, has a V10 which is only in a few cars, and has a distinct engine sound. Plus the interior is the best one I've ever seen. Go learn something
@cobanermani456 Its a W16, big differance...... " go learn" that........ And no, Lexus deserves no respect for me, they've coppied the Likes of Several European cars over the tinny amount of time they've even been a copany.
Lexus sucks, if you wanna talk what japanese cars deserve respect....... then talk Mazda, or talk Nissan........
Im glad Lexus and Toyota have only make minor contributions to sports cars. Because the history is there, German cars like MB or BMW have already done it, +
@Howie262 Haha, what a penissucker...Other people copy Lexus and Toyota too y'know? But then again you are dumb and biased and don't want to admit it so I can expect that from you...lol. And the LFA doesn't copy anyone. You're a dumb*ss. Lexus doesn't suck. YOU suck penis. Mazda and Nissan are lame and dull. You just need to stop being an ass and actually learn some things about the LFA before you accuse it of being a copycat.
@cobanermani456 yes i must be a fanboy since i posted correct information that makes sense, you have been corrected multiple times on here by different people, your info is wrong so you are praising a car blindly i would say that makes you the fanboy
@mikethebeast1012 You posted a wrong lap time for the Nurburgring lap time of the LFA. How is that correct? I think you're confused...Plus, I'm not praising the LFA blindly. You're just biased
Price isn't really even supposed to matter a lot with supercars. It's about speed and ride pleasure. The LFA has both. Plus the STIG likes it. He says it's one of the best track cars he's driven. Are you going against the STIG, Mr Knowitall european fanboy? :P
@cobanermani456 again its the only published laptime from a reputable source so far so it is correct (i even cited the source since you are clearly not very intelligent), the STIG doesnt talk you idiot, price is important when you are talking about such an outlandish price as the LFA, if it had a reasonable price it would be a very good car but when you can have cars that are on par and even some cars that are significantly faster for a fraction of the price its just a joke
@mikethebeast1012 Have you ever read the magazine and how they state what the Stig says about the cars? You're the idiot. My bad I was wrong about the 7:30. It did do 7:38. But here's the thing..According to Sport Auto, the driver who drove the LFA also drove the ZR1 and 458 and made 7:38 lap times with them as well. The driver also drove the SLS, Murc LP670 SV, Gallardo, and 599GTB.
LFA beat SLS by 2 sec, LP670 SV by 4, LP560 by 10, and 599 by 9. All by the same driver Horst Saurma
@cobanermani456 thank you for taking my advice and actually coming back with some facts, however i do not fail, my point still stands for its price it should do FAR better than just a few seconds faster than the competition, the real winners are the owners of any of the above mentioned cars along with any R8 V10, GT3, GT3RS, GT2, GT2RS, 911 turbo, 458 itialia, F430 scuderia, as ALL these cars post a very close time (some post faster times) for FAR less money. again this is a fail for lexus
@mikethebeast1012 You may think those cars are cheaper because that's what they retail at but you're wrong. People have to wait quite a few years to even get a Ferrari, Lambo, etc. People sometimes even have to pay double to triple the price to get a Ferrari within a year. Some people aren't even accepted by Ferrari to get one even if they have the money. I haven't heard of a single case like that with the LFA. Plus almost everything on those cars is optional like nav and cupholder. (to be cont)
@cobanermani456 (cont) Some people even paid a $1 MM for the F430 when it came out when it was retailing at under $200K becuz they wanted to be one of the first and actually GET one. The same has even happened with the 458, Lambos, even the R8 and Challenger.Did you know that when the R8 came out so many people wanted it that it was selling for on average $200K+? The challenger was selling over $80K. The LFA isn't in high demand like those cars. It doesn't go way over 375K.So much for overpriced
@cobanermani456 really? if you honestly think the LFA is going to go for $375k you are crazy all cars like that have a high mark up which is why the sticker price (the only price that is constant) can be used for comparison, that is why ALL reputable auto magazines, and shows compare based on that price not what Joe Random was willing to pay to be the 1st guy with any particular car. seeing as how there will only be a few LFAs i can only imagine the already astronomical price will rise even more
@mikethebeast1012 Nah, Lexus chose the buyers by how long they've been buying Lexuses and if they were worthy enough to get the car, lol. You have to do a survey and the LFA wasn't as hot of a seller as Ferraris...Joe Random...lol. No, the price that is listed in car magazines is the price Ferrari said the car would sell for. Just like McLaren announced the price of their new car and no one has bought it. Magazines follow what the company announces the price will be.
@cobanermani456 Ferrari is fairly exclusive as to who they sell to they have a reputation to uphold (unlike lexus has brand isnt even as old as Ferraris racing heritage). again we are comparing sticker prices as no super car is ever sold for the same price it all depends on how good the relationship with the dealer is (whether or not youre limited knowledge has heard of it the LFA is the same). how many supercars dont have Nav??? and youre crazy to put a drink in a car that cost that much
@mikethebeast1012 ...Your ignorance is an insult to my intelligence. Sure, I will admit I was wrong on some things but you're now being retarded. I know the Lexus isn't sold at exactly $375K but it's shouldn't be that much higher...Yeah, I have limited knowledge...lol. And I would like a supercar to at least do daily things a regular car can do. The 458 can't even do that well. The LFA was also sold to people who would drive it a lot. So people who have lots of cars probably didn't get one.
@cobanermani456 well with your wrong times, wrong prices, and other wrong statements you have more than proven you are clueless. when you buy a super car you likely dont care about cup holders or stupid stuff like that. here are the facts when a car is reviewed the price used to compare is the MSRP (the prices i listed were all that price), it took 10yrs and millions in research to design and it still falls short of euros costing a fraction of the price. if this isnt a fail i dont know what is
@BlackDynamiteNYC yay ignorant statements from a japanafanboy, im sure its a great driving car but it terms of performance it sucks for $400k its should easily handle any car on the road but it gets beat by euros a fraction of the price
@BlackDynamiteNYC said like a true fanboy, insults and ignorance with no facts. how does being from an econo-luxury brand (lexus) give the car any bonus points? a company with no history in racing compared to the competition, and proves its epic failure by making a car like this. im simply informing people that the sole fact of its super high price its not nearly the fastest car on the road (which is many peoples misconception), in fact its far from the fastest
@mikethebeast1012 Said like a typical hater, who is really a Lexus jock-sniffer, because he can't get off this video, and won't get off it Lexus never said it would be the fastest anything People who've driven it, their opinion is ALL that matters And those who drive one, want one. Period. Find ONE negative review. One negative SENTENCE on it's ability. Good luck! If you don't like it, tough! Sit here and wallow in your hate. You just shame yourself. Sit under a cloud of hate. Happy?
@BlackDynamiteNYC again immature language and insults, fanboy status_confirmed, i never said its not a fun car to drive but all those ppl how many are actually going to buy 1? 500 (thats about the # theyre building). actually nearly every reviews says the same thing they start by saying its performance (0-60, cornering, braking, top speed, etc) if far below that of the well established names, but that its fun to drive which i never argued, that simply that it doesnt perform like a $400k car FACT
@mikethebeast1012 You prove yourself to be even more of a retard. Lexus is NOT econo luxury. You just keep pulling stuff from your butthole thinking people will buy it when everyone just knows you are a biased troll. All you are coming up with is POOP. It's not an epic failure. It's one of the most amazing supercars ever. Toyota was terrible at the F1 and then they make a car that can top Ferrari. It's quite fast if you don't just think about 0-60.Go to the sewer where you came from with ur poop
@cobanermani456 lexus is (along with acura, buick, infiniti, etc) an econo-luxury brand, why that is so hard to believe i dont know. being such a huge review fan i wouldve thought you read the part where they (and by they i mean nearly all since almost every review says they same exact thing) say how the LFA sucks in nearly every area of performance (0-60, braking, handling, etc) and is beaten by countless cars, but its fun to drive. go reread those reviews its all there
@mikethebeast1012 That's like saying because the Chevy Corvette wants to be like Ferrari while other companies like Lamborghini or McLaren don't means that Ferrari is like Chevy. What dumb logic. Lexus ain't econo luxury no matter what you say. Consumer Reports, MT, C&D, Automobilemag, and many other RELIABLE sources say that Lexus' have some of the highest quality interiors and that they are built like tanks. Go get some real info instead of pulling stuff out of your butthole
Man you are dumb. You say this is a fail for lexus when it sold it the first week they allowed people to buy the car. This isn't a car you can just stroll into a ferrari shop and pick up an 430. IT's EXOTIC. more exotic than a aston martin, bentley, or lambo.
@utahgs im dumb? you can just walk in and buy a Ferrari, you have to be on a list and they are also exclusive. its rare thats about it (not exotic dont get confused), when Ferrari and Lambo make a special edition they also sell out nearly instantly (even the neiman marcus camaro sold out in 3min), it has to do with the fact its rare because it certainly doesnt perform like a car that costs $400k so thats not the selling point
@mikethebeast1012 And even Lexus said low 7:20s and it they claimed 7:24. You may say that you don't trust the company but did you know that GM claimed the ZR1 did 7:26? It's mostly about the driver and how he unleashes the power and handling of the car.
It's also been claimed that the LFA is one of the fastest cars in the corners ever made. Plus on many tests it's gone to the top in lap times. It even recorded the fastest wet lap time on TG.
@cobanermani456 if weve learned anything from nissan its to NEVER trust a japanese automakers "claimed time", i know the ZR1 posted a time of 7:26, that is true but many have also claimed faster times than GMs claimed time. as far as the wet lap goes the term "wet" limits its validity since that word doesnt account for how wet it is, the LFA is a fast car and if the price was closer to the competition it would be a beast but at $400k its a rip off, if performance is a priority you wont buy it
@mikethebeast1012 Yeah, and other people have claimed the LFA can go under 7:20 and they aren't in Japan. :P Who are you gonna believe? It was actually labeled VERY wet. It was soaking out there and the Stig had to drive the car very gingerly because of how wet the lap was. See, you are retarded because all you are thinking about is price. The LFA is higher quality too. Mostly everything you'd want in a luxury sedan and supercar is standard in an LFA. Not optional like most supercars.
@cobanermani456 the people im gonna believe are the PUBLISHED times the only ones that count, and again wet isnt a term that is measured scientifically on that show, so while it is an impressive car its killed by its price, price is important although no die hard LFA fanboy would ever admit that, even a fully optioned out competitors car is nowhere near $400k. higher quality? from a company who compares with buick, acura, and other econo-luxury brands? i think not
@mikethebeast1012 Did you even read my comments about how people have to pay way over the "low" price? And the LFA IS higher quality. What the hell are you talking about buick, acura, and other econo luxury brands? See, that just proves you ARE biased. Why are BMW, Mercedes, and Audi trying to catch up to Lexus. Yes, Lexus had the accelerator problem and the germans may be sportier but they have a LONG way to go before they reach the quality and reliability of Lexus. You biased dumbf***
@cobanermani456 well regardless of what people pay that is their price, the same is likely for the LFA, it makes no sense to compare what random people have claimed to pay. BMW and Audi are making no effort to "catch up to" lexus, as both are regarded worldwide as having the best build quality, when lesser companies repeatedly quote how they wish to be like lexus (as has been done for both BMW and Audi) then you can make that claim, until then they are an econo-luxury brand
@mikethebeast1012 What do you mean random people have claimed to pay? It usually comes out from Ferrari. WOW, did you know that Lexus' aren't sold worldwide? Lexus' are known to be dull to drive in Europe but have the best built and most reliable cars. Same in the US. You need to get your facts straight. Even car magazines ALWAYS praise the Lexus interiors and build quality more than many cars. Rappers talk about Lexuses in their songs. Most people compare a car's sturdiness to a Lexus!
@cobanermani456 they also talk about impalas and malibus which are nothing special, and you will hear FAR more BMW and Benz references than any lexus, why? because the FACT is that they are an econo-luxury brand (whether you admit it or not). again you should read more because Audi and BMW are regarded for the best interior (by magazines and spokespeople from other auto companies)

I give Lexus a lot of credit for having the dedication to diverge off of the streamlined idea of super cars and finding their own path towards perfection
vex123 1 year ago 53
@vex123 I agree, it's Toyota's Veyron in a sense - they wanted to really show off what they could do. They didnt go as extreme as the Bugatti in the complete and luxury sense but Toyota used their own ideals and capitalized on them
blackXSpr 1 year ago 2
@vex123 this is pure BS, there is NOTHING unique about the LFA, everything about it has been used before, front-mid engine, carbon fiber, high revving engines. for the insanely high cost it should decimate everything built thus far, however it gets beat by euros that cost a fraction of the price. all that imagination into reality and other fiction bullshit youre spewing belongs in an infomercial to sell this car to people ignorant enough to think its fast

utahgs 1 year ago
@utahgs the 911 turbo makes me ignorant? how is that it still has a faster time than the LFA for a HUGE deal less money, the same goes for the R8 GT (also faster and a ton less) with the V10 R8 being close but at such a low price its still a FAR better choice than the LFA
mikethebeast1012 1 year ago
@mikethebeast1012 You still have to think about the quality of materials. And I find it so funny you didn't respond to my comment, troll. You haven't driven either car. Stop being a biased troll and you can complain about the car when you've actually driven it. :P
cobanermani456 1 year ago
@cobanermani456 quality of materials? you cant be talking about Porsche and Audi (known for having the most high quality interiors on the market) as their quality is certainly higher then any econo-luxury brand as lexus. worth every cent doesnt mean a whole lot when its coming from the rich and famous, who has $400k to piss away on a garage queen and thats what the car will be because if you want to win youll need one of the mentioned cars that are faster and cheaper
mikethebeast1012 1 year ago
@mikethebeast1012 Biased dummy. Porsche hasn't always had the highest quality interiors. Audi has been said to have one of the highest in quality and style. I've seen porsches with gaps and they aren't reliable at all. Lexus has always been said to have impeccable interior quality. You just keep pulling from your butt econo lux brand Lexus. Just because Acura and other econo luxury brands want to be like Lexus while BMW and Audi don't doesn't mean it's econo. (to be cont.)

Everyone who says Lexus loses money from these is retarded. The Lexus stock prices rise like hell, plus this can be used as an advertising platform. The cost of making a car might exceed the cost of the actual sale price, but that doesn't mean Lexus doesn't get a pretty penny from all this.
WhatTheFproductions 1 year ago
@WhatTheFproductions Actually, you're the retard. Lexus is losing a lot of money on each one they sell. They even announced how much the LFA nurburgring package model was worth when the guy who was driving in it crashed and died. It was worth 1.8 million dollars.
What the hell you smoking, dude?
cobanermani456 1 year ago
@cobanermani456 Dude, if you show up in a meeting room and tell the Lexus board of directors "Hey, I want to make a fast car but we'll lose money and not gain anything from it", they're gonna throw you out of a window. Think about it, there's no way a group of people would approve this project if they didn't gain something in return. Stocks, technology for future road cars, advertising material, the LFA helps them in each of these areas. In the end they're still in green.
WhatTheFproductions 1 year ago 3
@WhatTheFproductions Toyota is losing money on each one. I don't see what's so hard to understand. That price is too low for what the LFA is. Nobody else in the world even has a circular carbon fiber loom. They don't really care about losing money on it. They wanted to make a halo car and omg what a halo car it is. They wanted to show people they can be a sporty company and build a supercar but they knew they couldn't charge $1 million for it becuz of dummies like you. Don't be a flippin retard
cobanermani456 1 year ago
@cobanermani456 So the fact that Toyota stock went up $16 in the last 3 months didn't make them money? Honestly dude stop living in a fairy world, nothing gets done in a capitalist environment unless it puts money in someone's pocket.
WhatTheFproductions 1 year ago
@WhatTheFproductions The LFA was sold out shortly after the preorders last year meaning that the stocks have nothing to do with the LFA's sales. And even if the LFA doesn't make them money Toyota is still getting lots of money from their other cars like Camry and etc. The LFA isn't helping Lexus make money. You're living in a biased world where you just hate the LFA because it can't go to 60 mph as fast as other cars. The LFA isn't giving Toyota a single profit.
cobanermani456 1 year ago
@cobanermani456 I love the LFA, I love Lexus (My family has a 2002 IS300 and a 2005 IS300). But you're completely wrong, 500 of the LFA's were said for, not sold. They still have about 60 to move. Anyway how can you not understand that stocks are affected by everything. If apple comes out with a new iPhone their stocks skyrocket. It's the same in this case, except its a car. Oh an by the way, Lexus isn't even selling the LFA's yet, they're only offering 2 year leases at the moment.
WhatTheFproductions 1 year ago
@WhatTheFproductions You're right they are leases I forgot. My bad. Lexus can't be making money on what it takes to make an LFA. They spent so much researching and making it. Yeah, I know that everything affects a stock but the lfa isn't making them better. It's just like the Veyron. It's a halo car and they don't give a crap about how much it costs to make. And yeah they are still making them but they've already been spoken for. Only around 170 came to the US...500 were made though.

What's so overpriced now?
cobanermani456 1 year ago
@cobanermani456 naw veyrons are about 1-2 million dollars....... i dont know what your'e talking about them being 5...i dont like them.
I just think it shows how inferior the japanese really are lol...... this was Toyota's best atempt at a hyper car.... the project is almost 2 decades old.......
and the car is no more faster than a nissan GTR but also more expensive than even the top ferraris....
i mean, you can have any car of your dreams... or you could have a slow lexus... your choice.
Howie262 1 year ago
@Howie262 No, it actually costs $5 million to MAKE them. They knew they were going to lose money on each one they sold but they wanted to see if it was possible to make a supercar that fast. It costs Lexus around $1 million to make an LFA. Yeah, and they made a car with one of the best sounding engines ever, has a v10 the size of a v8, and the weight of a V6. Your comment is full of lies. The LFA is faster at higher speeds and in the corners than a GTR where it actually matters. (to be cont.)
cobanermani456 1 year ago
@Howie262 (cont.) Also it is NOT more expensive than the top ferrari. The top ferrari is the 599GTB HGTE and that costs around $400K. The LFA costs $375K. Research about cars dude. Even if it took Toyota 1 decade, not two, to make the car you have to realize that they taught themselves. They didn't hire some Ferrari guy to come over. It took Ferrari 64 years to get to where they are today with their supercars. Lexus made a supercar that can beat the best ferrari in one decade. Thats incredible
cobanermani456 1 year ago
@cobanermani456 the thing you are forgetting is that with 10yrs of development, millions in research and spending and it still gets beat by nearly every European car costing 1/3 the price. just tally up another lexus fail
mikethebeast1012 1 year ago 2
@mikethebeast1012 That depends on what you call "beat". I bet your thinking about acceleration times. Acceleration isn't everything. It should be about the whole package. The Lexus mixes luxury, speed, handling, and a gratification. Heck, even Car and Driver said that Ferrari needs to follow Lexus's LFA because their cars seem like Lexus' compared to the visceral feel of the LFA. If you are concerned about price you probably don't even have enough money to buy even a 3 series.
YOU FAIL
cobanermani456 1 year ago
@cobanermani456 actually i was referring to real performance laptimes, although now that you say that its 0-60 time isnt very impressive either. the LFA is a joke it gets beat by cars from europe that cost less than 1/3 the price. maybe nothig in Ferraris stable can handle the LFA and cost so little but both Porsche and Audi have faster cars that cost WAY less. if you buy the LFA you dont give 2 shit about performance its just a "i have more money to waste than you" car and nothing more
mikethebeast1012 1 year ago 2
@mikethebeast1012 Well, you fail buddy. The LFA did a lap on the Nurburgring in 7:23. That's 3 seconds faster than the Corvette ZR1. Why is that fast? Because it encourages speed in the corners and drives like a track car. The ZR1 is fast but it's scary and redneck. The LFA can beat the Porsche and Audi too. Did you ever see the episode of Battle of the Supercars how the LFA whooped the R8 V10? Get your facts straight. The LFA can whoop many supercars in the corners and high speeds
cobanermani456 1 year ago
@cobanermani456 really 7:23 again i say you fail the posted time is 7:38 although some have speculated that a 7:23 could be psooible it hasnt happened yet, even if it achieves that 7:23 time there will still be cuntless cars with times that are faster or VERY close but at a fraction of the price. the LFA in no way "whooped" the R8 it wasnt time attack so its not a very accurate guage of performance. but heres some more facts for you LFA $400k 7:38, R8 GT $250k 7:34, R8 V10 $150k 7:44
mikethebeast1012 1 year ago 2
@mikethebeast1012 Well, you don't know how to read cause a Japanese mag reported that the LFA did 7:23. And the LFA still beats the R8 even if it did 7:38. I love how retards forget about how they should DRIVE the car before saying it's crap. I'm not saying other supercars are crap but from what I've heard, the LFA is better than most cars with fun to driving pleasure, handling, etc. Some people say it's more fun to drive than Ferraris and that it ties the 458 italia. That's pretty high praise.
cobanermani456 1 year ago
@cobanermani456 yes i read that same thing the magazine is called Holiday Auto, but until a reputable non-japanese (since they are notorious for making up laptimes) magazine releases a time i will go with SportAuto's time of 7:38. meaning it beats the R8 V10 but with such a lower price the R8 is still the real winner or the R8 GT which beats it and is still a bargain. with 10yrs and a $400k pricetag it should be the fastest car to ever run a track, but its not even close
mikethebeast1012 1 year ago
@mikethebeast1012 Lol, yeah whatever. You're biased of the Japanese. What an *sshole. And actually you are absolutely wrong about the 7:38. It's 7:30. Get your facts straight. Yeah, it took ten years for Toyota to teach themselves to make a supercar. What's wrong with that? It took ferrari over 50 years to get where they are. Toyota only 10. :P
And I'm not a japanese fanboy. I like Ferrari too and would stick by them over a lot of companies. I actually like the 458 italia and the LFA equally
cobanermani456 1 year ago
@cobanermani456 7:38 is a published time 7:30??? thats not an official published time anywhere just more wrong information from you, Ferrari hardly took 5oyrs, they were making supercars from day 1 and have been throughout history being 1 of the few cars that is considered the standard for all supercars. look at lambo every few yrs the engine is almost entirely redesigned to make more power it doesnt take them 10yrs. please go get some correct information and come back
mikethebeast1012 1 year ago
@cobanermani456 You're such an idiot kid................ 15 grand is not a selling point when you're talking these prices.
i was talking about Gillardos and 548's........... those are cheaper. is what i was saying...
Yeah bud you apparantly dont know how Toyota coppies other car manufactures.....
but you're a toyota-sheep. so you think that that car is purely only a japanese car... phf.. yeah right..
Toyota umong other japanese companies are natorious for cloning european cars....
Howie262 1 year ago 2
@Howie262 I think you mean 458, retard. Plus, give me an example of how Toyota copied another company with their LFA? Give me at least three examples of how they have with the LFA. Plus if somebody has a Gallardo or 458 they probably have a few more supercars in the garage and wouldn't care about the LFA's price. And I like the other companies too but people need to give Lexus respect and stop being so biased like the loser you are. I don't even see how the LFA copies other supercars. Its unique
cobanermani456 1 year ago
@cobanermani456 458 is what i meant to say, you're obviously the retard fan-boy. anyways. i dont even like itallian cars that much so who cares if i typed wrong up one number. the rev counter on lexus lfa screen is electronic, we know that because " its the only device that can keep up with the pace of the extrememly fast reving" well, the Mclaren f1 did that 20 years ago....... so theres one thing... and you saying its Unique when really it doesnt have any set trait that sets it apart.......
Howie262 1 year ago 2
@Howie262 I'm actually not a fanboy. I like ferrari and corvettes but the LFA deserves some respect. That's it? That's like saying that because Bugatti made a V16 car they are copying Cadillac. Or like saying Ferrari is copying the LFA because it has a 9000 rpm just like it. You are really retarded. Yes, it's unique. It looks like nothing else on the road, has a V10 which is only in a few cars, and has a distinct engine sound. Plus the interior is the best one I've ever seen. Go learn something
cobanermani456 1 year ago
@cobanermani456 Its a W16, big differance...... " go learn" that........ And no, Lexus deserves no respect for me, they've coppied the Likes of Several European cars over the tinny amount of time they've even been a copany.
Lexus sucks, if you wanna talk what japanese cars deserve respect....... then talk Mazda, or talk Nissan........
Im glad Lexus and Toyota have only make minor contributions to sports cars. Because the history is there, German cars like MB or BMW have already done it, +
Howie262 1 year ago 2
@Howie262 Haha, what a penissucker...Other people copy Lexus and Toyota too y'know? But then again you are dumb and biased and don't want to admit it so I can expect that from you...lol. And the LFA doesn't copy anyone. You're a dumb*ss. Lexus doesn't suck. YOU suck penis. Mazda and Nissan are lame and dull. You just need to stop being an ass and actually learn some things about the LFA before you accuse it of being a copycat.
cobanermani456 1 year ago
@Howie262 lol funny shit. japanafanboys will never stop. the truth is if you want real performance you have 1 choice European
mikethebeast1012 1 year ago 2
@mikethebeast1012 Haha, dumb european fanboy...
cobanermani456 1 year ago
@cobanermani456 yes i must be a fanboy since i posted correct information that makes sense, you have been corrected multiple times on here by different people, your info is wrong so you are praising a car blindly i would say that makes you the fanboy
mikethebeast1012 1 year ago 2
@mikethebeast1012 You posted a wrong lap time for the Nurburgring lap time of the LFA. How is that correct? I think you're confused...Plus, I'm not praising the LFA blindly. You're just biased
Price isn't really even supposed to matter a lot with supercars. It's about speed and ride pleasure. The LFA has both. Plus the STIG likes it. He says it's one of the best track cars he's driven. Are you going against the STIG, Mr Knowitall european fanboy? :P
cobanermani456 1 year ago
@cobanermani456 again its the only published laptime from a reputable source so far so it is correct (i even cited the source since you are clearly not very intelligent), the STIG doesnt talk you idiot, price is important when you are talking about such an outlandish price as the LFA, if it had a reasonable price it would be a very good car but when you can have cars that are on par and even some cars that are significantly faster for a fraction of the price its just a joke
mikethebeast1012 1 year ago 2
YOU FAIL :)
cobanermani456 1 year ago
@cobanermani456 thank you for taking my advice and actually coming back with some facts, however i do not fail, my point still stands for its price it should do FAR better than just a few seconds faster than the competition, the real winners are the owners of any of the above mentioned cars along with any R8 V10, GT3, GT3RS, GT2, GT2RS, 911 turbo, 458 itialia, F430 scuderia, as ALL these cars post a very close time (some post faster times) for FAR less money. again this is a fail for lexus
mikethebeast1012 1 year ago
@mikethebeast1012 You may think those cars are cheaper because that's what they retail at but you're wrong. People have to wait quite a few years to even get a Ferrari, Lambo, etc. People sometimes even have to pay double to triple the price to get a Ferrari within a year. Some people aren't even accepted by Ferrari to get one even if they have the money. I haven't heard of a single case like that with the LFA. Plus almost everything on those cars is optional like nav and cupholder. (to be cont)
cobanermani456 1 year ago
@cobanermani456 (cont) Some people even paid a $1 MM for the F430 when it came out when it was retailing at under $200K becuz they wanted to be one of the first and actually GET one. The same has even happened with the 458, Lambos, even the R8 and Challenger.Did you know that when the R8 came out so many people wanted it that it was selling for on average $200K+? The challenger was selling over $80K. The LFA isn't in high demand like those cars. It doesn't go way over 375K.So much for overpriced
cobanermani456 1 year ago
@cobanermani456 really? if you honestly think the LFA is going to go for $375k you are crazy all cars like that have a high mark up which is why the sticker price (the only price that is constant) can be used for comparison, that is why ALL reputable auto magazines, and shows compare based on that price not what Joe Random was willing to pay to be the 1st guy with any particular car. seeing as how there will only be a few LFAs i can only imagine the already astronomical price will rise even more
mikethebeast1012 1 year ago
@mikethebeast1012 Nah, Lexus chose the buyers by how long they've been buying Lexuses and if they were worthy enough to get the car, lol. You have to do a survey and the LFA wasn't as hot of a seller as Ferraris...Joe Random...lol. No, the price that is listed in car magazines is the price Ferrari said the car would sell for. Just like McLaren announced the price of their new car and no one has bought it. Magazines follow what the company announces the price will be.
cobanermani456 1 year ago
@cobanermani456 Ferrari is fairly exclusive as to who they sell to they have a reputation to uphold (unlike lexus has brand isnt even as old as Ferraris racing heritage). again we are comparing sticker prices as no super car is ever sold for the same price it all depends on how good the relationship with the dealer is (whether or not youre limited knowledge has heard of it the LFA is the same). how many supercars dont have Nav??? and youre crazy to put a drink in a car that cost that much
mikethebeast1012 1 year ago
@mikethebeast1012 ...Your ignorance is an insult to my intelligence. Sure, I will admit I was wrong on some things but you're now being retarded. I know the Lexus isn't sold at exactly $375K but it's shouldn't be that much higher...Yeah, I have limited knowledge...lol. And I would like a supercar to at least do daily things a regular car can do. The 458 can't even do that well. The LFA was also sold to people who would drive it a lot. So people who have lots of cars probably didn't get one.
cobanermani456 1 year ago
@cobanermani456 well with your wrong times, wrong prices, and other wrong statements you have more than proven you are clueless. when you buy a super car you likely dont care about cup holders or stupid stuff like that. here are the facts when a car is reviewed the price used to compare is the MSRP (the prices i listed were all that price), it took 10yrs and millions in research to design and it still falls short of euros costing a fraction of the price. if this isnt a fail i dont know what is
mikethebeast1012 1 year ago
@mikethebeast1012
Said like someone who hasn't driven one
EVERY person who has says this is a HUGE WIN for Lexus

@BlackDynamiteNYC yay ignorant statements from a japanafanboy, im sure its a great driving car but it terms of performance it sucks for $400k its should easily handle any car on the road but it gets beat by euros a fraction of the price
mikethebeast1012 1 year ago
@mikethebeast1012
Your ignorance is only exceeded by your insolence!
None of those cars is a Lexus, so they started life with 2 strikes already!
If you don't love this car, why are you on it's jock like crotch rot?
BlackDynamiteNYC 1 year ago
@BlackDynamiteNYC said like a true fanboy, insults and ignorance with no facts. how does being from an econo-luxury brand (lexus) give the car any bonus points? a company with no history in racing compared to the competition, and proves its epic failure by making a car like this. im simply informing people that the sole fact of its super high price its not nearly the fastest car on the road (which is many peoples misconception), in fact its far from the fastest

@BlackDynamiteNYC again immature language and insults, fanboy status_confirmed, i never said its not a fun car to drive but all those ppl how many are actually going to buy 1? 500 (thats about the # theyre building). actually nearly every reviews says the same thing they start by saying its performance (0-60, cornering, braking, top speed, etc) if far below that of the well established names, but that its fun to drive which i never argued, that simply that it doesnt perform like a $400k car FACT
mikethebeast1012 1 year ago
@mikethebeast1012 You prove yourself to be even more of a retard. Lexus is NOT econo luxury. You just keep pulling stuff from your butthole thinking people will buy it when everyone just knows you are a biased troll. All you are coming up with is POOP. It's not an epic failure. It's one of the most amazing supercars ever. Toyota was terrible at the F1 and then they make a car that can top Ferrari. It's quite fast if you don't just think about 0-60.Go to the sewer where you came from with ur poop
cobanermani456 1 year ago
@cobanermani456 lexus is (along with acura, buick, infiniti, etc) an econo-luxury brand, why that is so hard to believe i dont know. being such a huge review fan i wouldve thought you read the part where they (and by they i mean nearly all since almost every review says they same exact thing) say how the LFA sucks in nearly every area of performance (0-60, braking, handling, etc) and is beaten by countless cars, but its fun to drive. go reread those reviews its all there
mikethebeast1012 1 year ago
@mikethebeast1012 That's like saying because the Chevy Corvette wants to be like Ferrari while other companies like Lamborghini or McLaren don't means that Ferrari is like Chevy. What dumb logic. Lexus ain't econo luxury no matter what you say. Consumer Reports, MT, C&D, Automobilemag, and many other RELIABLE sources say that Lexus' have some of the highest quality interiors and that they are built like tanks. Go get some real info instead of pulling stuff out of your butthole
cobanermani456 1 year ago
@mikethebeast1012
Man you are dumb. You say this is a fail for lexus when it sold it the first week they allowed people to buy the car. This isn't a car you can just stroll into a ferrari shop and pick up an 430. IT's EXOTIC. more exotic than a aston martin, bentley, or lambo.
utahgs 1 year ago
@utahgs im dumb? you can just walk in and buy a Ferrari, you have to be on a list and they are also exclusive. its rare thats about it (not exotic dont get confused), when Ferrari and Lambo make a special edition they also sell out nearly instantly (even the neiman marcus camaro sold out in 3min), it has to do with the fact its rare because it certainly doesnt perform like a car that costs $400k so thats not the selling point
mikethebeast1012 1 year ago 2
@mikethebeast1012 And even Lexus said low 7:20s and it they claimed 7:24. You may say that you don't trust the company but did you know that GM claimed the ZR1 did 7:26? It's mostly about the driver and how he unleashes the power and handling of the car.
It's also been claimed that the LFA is one of the fastest cars in the corners ever made. Plus on many tests it's gone to the top in lap times. It even recorded the fastest wet lap time on TG.
cobanermani456 1 year ago
@cobanermani456 if weve learned anything from nissan its to NEVER trust a japanese automakers "claimed time", i know the ZR1 posted a time of 7:26, that is true but many have also claimed faster times than GMs claimed time. as far as the wet lap goes the term "wet" limits its validity since that word doesnt account for how wet it is, the LFA is a fast car and if the price was closer to the competition it would be a beast but at $400k its a rip off, if performance is a priority you wont buy it
mikethebeast1012 1 year ago 2
@mikethebeast1012 Yeah, and other people have claimed the LFA can go under 7:20 and they aren't in Japan. :P Who are you gonna believe? It was actually labeled VERY wet. It was soaking out there and the Stig had to drive the car very gingerly because of how wet the lap was. See, you are retarded because all you are thinking about is price. The LFA is higher quality too. Mostly everything you'd want in a luxury sedan and supercar is standard in an LFA. Not optional like most supercars.
cobanermani456 1 year ago
@cobanermani456 the people im gonna believe are the PUBLISHED times the only ones that count, and again wet isnt a term that is measured scientifically on that show, so while it is an impressive car its killed by its price, price is important although no die hard LFA fanboy would ever admit that, even a fully optioned out competitors car is nowhere near $400k. higher quality? from a company who compares with buick, acura, and other econo-luxury brands? i think not
mikethebeast1012 1 year ago 2
@mikethebeast1012 Did you even read my comments about how people have to pay way over the "low" price? And the LFA IS higher quality. What the hell are you talking about buick, acura, and other econo luxury brands? See, that just proves you ARE biased. Why are BMW, Mercedes, and Audi trying to catch up to Lexus. Yes, Lexus had the accelerator problem and the germans may be sportier but they have a LONG way to go before they reach the quality and reliability of Lexus. You biased dumbf***
cobanermani456 1 year ago
@cobanermani456 well regardless of what people pay that is their price, the same is likely for the LFA, it makes no sense to compare what random people have claimed to pay. BMW and Audi are making no effort to "catch up to" lexus, as both are regarded worldwide as having the best build quality, when lesser companies repeatedly quote how they wish to be like lexus (as has been done for both BMW and Audi) then you can make that claim, until then they are an econo-luxury brand
mikethebeast1012 1 year ago 2
@mikethebeast1012 What do you mean random people have claimed to pay? It usually comes out from Ferrari. WOW, did you know that Lexus' aren't sold worldwide? Lexus' are known to be dull to drive in Europe but have the best built and most reliable cars. Same in the US. You need to get your facts straight. Even car magazines ALWAYS praise the Lexus interiors and build quality more than many cars. Rappers talk about Lexuses in their songs. Most people compare a car's sturdiness to a Lexus!
RETARD
cobanermani456 1 year ago
@cobanermani456 they also talk about impalas and malibus which are nothing special, and you will hear FAR more BMW and Benz references than any lexus, why? because the FACT is that they are an econo-luxury brand (whether you admit it or not). again you should read more because Audi and BMW are regarded for the best interior (by magazines and spokespeople from other auto companies)
mikethebeast1012 1 year ago
