  • @virgosapphires Thank you, it was ;-)!

  • I also make fried rice the way you do. I add onions and soy sauce directly to the rice everyone loves it. I make mine with shrimp...yummmm!!!

  • @hampton1104 That's cool and I have to try your version too ;-).

  • thanks for that. i will be doing this :-)

  • You're welcome and let me know when you try it ;-).

  • Thanks for the tips. Looks delish. I could definitely substitute the pork for chicken since I don't eat pork. Hmmmm. I want to make it now.

  • Thanks, it was so good :-D! I know what you mean. Sometimes, I'll be watching Food Network or a cooking tutorial here on YouTube and then I'm saying, "I can make that! Let me see if I got the ingredients (::running to the kitchen to look in my pantry and refrigerator::)!" LOL

  • This video is speaking my language LOL That looks so good!!! My husband won't eat pork but I'd be willing to try chicken instead. Yes ma'am...got my mouth watering. By the way, you're the bomb cooking and filming at the same time HAHA... go girl!

  • Thank you and please try it with chicken ;-). It was a little hard maneuvering the camera and flipping the food, but I worked it out LOL. You should see me before I turn on the camera thinking of how it will work while I'm recording. I'll be thinking out loud, "Now when I do this step I'll have my hand here and then I'll use this hand." My family looks at me like I'm crazy because I sometimes do a dry-run, LOL.

  • Making pork fried rice sounds like a good idea. Your food looks great too. I feel you on saving money and using leftovers to make your own takeout. It would probably be difficult to make enough for a family of eight, cause I really wouldn't want to do the whole process twice. Since your way is for a family of four. Dang, I seriously might try this one Friday. Fry me some chicken wings and I'll be good to go. Loves it, thanks for sharing your tips.

  • You could definitely make this for 8 people by doubling up the rice, 2 cups and vegetables like 16 oz or 24 oz bag (and the meat too, but hey, meat can be expensive sometimes). I would make it in a big pot or dutch oven and work it out. I grew up in a 7-member household and it seemed like every meal was a big production literally, LOL! Now I want some chicken wings, LOL!

  • girl u be throwing down

  • I try, I try (::pops collar::) LOL!

  • Yes i'll be by for my plate around 8 or so

look for me !!! lol no but it looks really good i'm not to keen on the pork so ill

try chicken. Thanks for the idea!!!! Lace

  • Hi Lace, Just toot your your horn, LOL ;-). You're welcome and please definitely try it with chicken. I just give the basics or foundation of a dish and then y'all can go crazy with it and make it your own :-D!

  • girl, that sounds & looks delicious ;

save me a plate ;) .. I'll have to try this!

    <3

  • See you got to me too late, we ate it all up, LOL! Let me know if and when you try it ;-).

  • great idea, must try soon, thx !

  • Thank you and let me know when you try it (you can do a video response, if you want) :-D!
