  • @Historygirl1863 Me too! :D

  • Lovely!!

  • Can you even Imagine Heaven?!? He died to wash away our sins, so we could be with him! He went through all of it for us, me and you! Come to the Lord and REPENT today.

  • I love this song. It has inspiring words. AMEN.

  • Prone to leave the God I love;

Here's my heart, O take and seal it,

Seal it for Thy courts above.

Lately I've been straying away from God, questioning my faith, but the other night at k-life (its like a church for teenagers) we sang this hymn and i almost cryed when i said the line above.

  • love it! I have been looking for someone who wouldn't rush it and butcher this beautiful song! You did a beautiful!

  • @thek8s Right! And the words are much appreciated, for this is a song to be sung along with.

  • These pictures are beautiful. Even a fallen Creation can be gorgeous.

  • I am using this to reherse for my school chior's try outs. Thanks.

  • do you have the sheet music for this song? I really want to learn to play it - it doesnt even matter what instrument its for if you have the sheet music would you please send me a link or something?

  • My mother discovered this 15 minutes ago and we sang it together.. The piano is beautiful and the lyrics touches my and my mother's heart.

  • I love this song!!!!!! :D

  • We sang this in Church today..it was so Beautiful

  • This song is so amazing...thank you for sharing it. God bless you.

I think it was Samuel who placed a rock and named it "Ebenzer" saying "Thus far the Lord has helped us." So much meaning in this song.

The third verse almost feels as though the writer is heartbroken from all the times he walked away from God. At least, that's the impression I get and I pray this song, especially that verse, to God saying bind me so I stop sinning against you.

    God bless you, all

  • what a great song...thanks for posting this! i remember when i was a kid singing this in my baptist church. i love the words. thanks!

  • Wisdom is before him that hath understanding; but the eyes of a fool are in the ends of the earth. Proverbs 17:24

  • I hope this song touches the hearts of many because I kno it touched mine... PRAISE THE LORD!

  • Praise the LORD

  • no words? thats the best part

  • If atheists don't believe God exists, why are they always wasting their time talking about Him and thinking about Him and writing about Him? What about Zoogloo? Does he exist? If so, why aren't people rejecting the fact that he does? Who is so smart as to dare to accomplish this feat? I don't waste my time not believing in a god/goddess that doesn't exist, I just relax and know (s)he doesn't. Move on to a more worthwhile topic and chill already!

  • Bernie enjoyed it

  • 300809

  • this song is wt i am singing for choir tryouts

  • Can I find this version of the song on itunes!?

  • Nice and simple - like the original would have been. Almost sounds like a zither/autoharp.

Grace notes were fine - they give it a nice Irish or bagpipe style.

Does not contain any trills or eighth notes.

  • ya a little too many grace notes.... but its still really good. well done. :D

  • beautiful

  • this is a pretty good version :) :)

    its nice and simple!!!

except for the trills...there are juust to many :(

id try to stay away from them -a few is ok but not every line :/

i loove the hymn ! this and be thou my vision!! :)

  • Thanks for your kind comments. I can't listen to the recording right now, but I don't remember playing any trills. I could be wrong. Where are they at? I'll try to listen later.

  • They don't sound like trills- just eigth notes.

  • Oh, I took a listen to it and now I know what you are talking about. Those aren't trills. They are more like grace notes.

  • @onewaymusic2008 I think this person meant grace notes, not trills. Trills are long rapid sequences of (usually) two notes being repeated over and over. You were playing a short note before the "real" note. It's important to remember that grace notes are ornamental, so I do agree with the statement to remove the majority of the grace notes played in this peace. It's like wearing too much make-up -- you just need a few to be decorative. :) Other than that, gorgeous cover. I love this song!

  • @duchessmaeve92 I think the reason they don't remember any trills is because there aren't any. They're actually grace notes. I agree though, just a touch too many, but this is truly a beautiful piece.

  • @Belatius5

Yeah, That was silly to say trills. I just didn't think about it.. I definitely know the difference! lol

  • @duchessmaeve92 this and be thou my vision r my fav. songs eva

  • @duchessmaeve92 They're grace notes. No trills in the piece. :)

  • Well done!

  • I love this song!!! It's so beautiful and truly lilting, this is my favorite video/ version of it! I think it would be a cool song to use in a wedding like instead of "here comes the bride". partly because I think it's prettier, but also because it's a hymn, so that just brings God into it more. And plus when you got to the end of the isle, your parents and his could come up to the front and you could all pray untill the song ends.

  • wow, this is like my favortie hymn EVUR! This is amazing. you did a fabulous job! Absolutly wonderful!

  • I love this...thank you for posting it. :)
