lol.. east , west or everywhere in ukraine most people speak russian, and a few speaking ukrainian but mixed with russian in the village.I even can't notice it's ukrainian or russian words because sounds almost the same.I've visited Ukraine, beautiful so many historical stuff could see, guys very friendly,they are hospitable too,especially in the village, but just few teenagers in village they likes living in kyiv.Haa just what I noticed girls likely to drink than guys.They talks loud :D
