Ιταλός γεννημένος στην πόλη Lucca, αλλά για πολλά χρόνια επίσημος συνθέτης της ισπανικής Αυλής. Συνεπώς "κουβαλούσε" και τις δύο κουλτούρες μέσα του και τις κατείχε εξαιρετικά...

I am a big fan of the Narciso Yepes' performance with the Mellos Quartet in 1970, but I think that Pepe Romero's performance is the second best of the kind. I also love the performance of the Romero Brothers Quartet (4 Guitars, because it's very difficult to transcribe the part of the violin or the cello to a guitar.
