I only had like half that amount of health when I tried to take him on on standard before I kept dying. His attacks were pretty disastrous, but I guess that means I just need to level some more, ey?

This is my first time playing kingdom hearts ever and i defeted him on the first try

It's really simple to beat him, Just use block on his attacks then when hes stunned use the reaction command "learn2 and keep doing this.

u coulnd kill him with mickey cuz u need a final combo to beat a boss and mikey dont have a final combo

he is hard to fight due his fighting style. He moves just like the wind. The keys to fighting him is the reaction of 'learn', defense (reflect) and limit breaks with beast.

why is it like this for me?? I beat the game on Beginner because I couldnt beat Demyx on standard, and now I cant beat this guy on standard, I'm playing him right now, btw, using this for a strategy

Xaldin was by far the hardest. I couldn't get anywhere near him with those lances, and when I did, he knocked be back out. It took me 3 tries, and on the 3rd try, I used Mickey to inflict some damage, then revived Sora for the last hit. The team moves with Beast helped alot too. You were awesome!

Use hero's Crest. that is one of the best keyblades to use against boss fights.

well to dodge his beams u must have hi jump lvl 2 and dodge jump lvl 2...

Personally, I'm a bit dissapointed with Xaldins moves. As the master of wind, I expected alot more twirling and spining around(really only with his limit). This shocks my friends as he's hard enough already XD

I had to be saved by Mickey FOUR TIMES in a row. I sure hope in KH2 Final Mix+, he'll be less hard. What also amazes me is how weak the Beast has gotten since the Hollow Bastion castle in KH. That Beast would've creamed Xaldin in a couple of minutes.

XD, They're making the difficulty harder because alot of people think the game is too easy, even Sephiroth on the hardest mode isn't too tough.

You know, I'm surprised Xemnas never fears Xaldin might try to lead the other surviving lower Org. members against him. Xaldin could've easily creamed Xemnas without even trying. I always thought Xigbar and Demyx were tougher, but back then, I didn't know how to access the 2nd battle menu. Saix and Luxord were never tough (Lost to Luxord once though, but never Saix).

Impossible. Remember:Storyline Mechanics =/= Gameplay Mechanics. Before absorbing Kingdom Hearts(first form), Xemnas was the most powerful person in the KH universe and he was made a total wimp. No Org member could stop him.

Forgot. I saw a video of Sora vs. Xemnas in KH Final Mix. Xemnas totally would've creamed Xaldin.

Was this on Standard or Proud mode? Because Xaldin doesn't look like he's being as big a maniac here as he is on Proud.

Fuck, this guy was hard. I remember I was able to beat him on my first try, without Mickey (on Standard Mode), but many times I came EXTREMELY close to dying. I don't know how I did it, but I barely did.
