i could really go for a Del and Busdriver collaboration. OR Hieroglyphics and Project Blowed collab. hip hop album of the decade??? with all that talent. easily.
I usedto love listening to del after drinkin a couple 40s and a blunt, hes got his own sound, he really appeals to the both the urban and suburban hip hop head
Aneyone know what the last song on the DVD is, the one during the credits? "off into the atmosphere past the oxygen that traps us here"? Ive been searching everywhere and cant find where its from?? I want it!!
@firepaint33 Its off a collaboration album called Calicomm. I believe theres a song with Abstract Rude rhyming over the beat but I dont think the Del's version was actually released.
yo,the shit he said about being in the music game, and knowing nothing about music,is the realest.alot of new rappers and producers think we old school, and our time has passed us by,but its worst now ,because the rappers don't write no more(mostly because they can't read )and if you gonna produce music now,you better go take a class or 2,because in the near future, the people who are taking lessons now,are the only ones, who are gonna be able to be in it for the long hall.right now its about melody
hmm... I admit I really don't feel the new album, but seeing this, I at least understand the transition to his new direction. While I don't think care much for 11th Hour's production, I do give him respect for striving to improve and create better music. Wish him success with future efforts. Looking forward to Deltron 2
If you thought Del was cool because of 3030 you dont shit about Del, or Hip Hop for that matter. Fuck anonymity, everybody got issues. If anything, people can relate to the fact that he has to deal with life before dealing with music.
Yea the anonymity that you speak of is actually just a person that has truth backing what hes doing in his life, therefore the mainstream audience finds nothing that they are looking for. It's not even a price to pay for a respectable life and to keep dignity, it's something that brings positivity and enlightenment into your life, and any paper currency is just a plus. real life no plastic. son.
that's a good PLATE DEL!

Its cool to come in as a rapper who doesn't know much about music but eventually you will have to learn music ,or your craft.
