@TheMegaguitarer There's this thing they call hexaphonic pick up near the bridge. It picks the signal from every string separately  to synthetiser. The strings touch it to ensure synth following the strings correctly for bending, vibrating etc. You can combine the synth to natural guitar sound or separate them. E.g upper strings for synthsolo and lower for guitar chords or pure synthsound from all strings or.... :) I think it was Roland GR series.

@konked Indeed it was! He used a GR 700 pedal and basically had the entire GR 707 synth system built into his Jackson. The knobs and switches on the guitar mostly match the GR 707 in terms of numbers and positions (sort of).

I've known Maiden for a long time, and I always tend to not catch the geniality in most of the songs at the first time, and then after a long time, I finally understand and begin to love these songs.
