there was a tv show in england in the seventies called "the black and white minstral show' I vaugely remember it from childhood. It was an old fashoned vaudville kind of show, like Al Jolson stuff . The jury is a referance to this show as they look exacty the same. I think they are there to add a dreamlike element. At the time the video was released every one would have got the referance in England.

4:35: On no, they weren't stupid. Me and my friends at the time (1983, I was 21) knew he was singing about men not chicks. Maybe some people thought they were guy/girl love songs, but 'Tumble For Ya" there is definitely "He" in the lyrics.

if i go bald and fat, im pretty sure that is not the root i shall take. To disguise the same areas he could have grown a very long comb over that went over the bald bit then down the other side then under and around his chin, hiding the growing roll of fat and then back up to where the comb over started and kept it in place with a hair clip. i think thats a far more sensible option and it keeps you warm in winter so its practical too and u can say thats why you did it

being a child of the 80s i loved culture club and david bowie and all the other bands from that era. i still listen to them today and wish that music today was as good as then. boy george is right with tecnology advancing and music producers over controling the bands its made it bland. and alot of the stuff you hear now is mostly violent and gurts the ears if you ask me we need good music like the 80s to make things better.
