@SyrathZidane yes but it is still under the same suffix that is why people compare. its just like how isai prefers smash64 over brawl. They are the SAME games with DIFFERENT mechanics. the next smash bros will be based off of brawl engine and then improved upon. that was the same aspect for melee. Melee has a steep learning curve so nintendo made changes. but nintendo must have noticed that half of the brawl crowd went back to melee (gcn version or project M).

No, marth is a floaty character , but that helps falco comboing him, because in this case , and even if it wont kill him , that will deal alot of damage. Plus marth can edgeguard almost everyone very efficiently , that's not falco specific.

I dont think this advantage is bigger in high levels of play , because it is only visible at high level. and when i look some pc chris vs ken matches ,they're always pretty even, and pc wins almost as much as ken(once ken had to switch to fox because he got raped hard ).

I'm not saying that Marth totally wrecks Falco, because Falco, regardless of who he plays against, is still a ridiculous character. Look at the Falco match-up vs. Marth on swf and it even says Marth has a slight advantage. My point is that in high levels of play, this advantage is exacerbated to the point where top Marths consistently beat top Falcos. Just look at vids of PC Chris vs M2K. If you gotta go the spacey route, Fox is a much more even match-up against Marth.

And for the record I'm not some fanboy or idiot. I play this game extensively and I know what I'm talking about. I'm not trying to flame anyone, I'm just trying to show that some people's understanding of the Marth-Falco match-up is limited. It is widely accepted in the Smash community that Marth has the advantage. That's not to say a good Falco player can't beat a Marth player of similar skill, but the Falco user had better make sure he doesn't make mistakes.
